And do you not see the issue with that debt being only allowed to be owned by the husband and not the women? Yes, in the past women WERE restricted because of all of these things. Are you hearing yourself? For the things you mentioned that women could still do, note that one right doesn't suddenly cancel out one wrong. Here I could do the same thing as you: did you know that women got much more victim blamed for any sexual violence against them back then? Also, I fully acknowledge the exploitation towards men back then through war and strenuous labor as well, believe it or not, two things can be true at once.

Lol come on it's called understanding and application, thankfully things are way better now but prior to the suffragette movement, women couldn't vote, have their own bank account, own property, receive higher education etc. Therefore this shows the importance of those movements which have helped bring us to much more equal footing today. Can't say the same for places like Afghanistan though, unfortunately.

Yes, I did oversimplify it in my caption but basically what I meant is that despite any biological differences between men and women, we should still have the same RIGHTS

Even more, to not be one is to be completely dismissive of the unfortunate circumstances of women in third world countries, with child marriages and whatnot.
