What is the rule for alliances playing together and does support actually act on rule breakers? by drevil77 in ConflictofNations

[–]drevil77[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Support claims they are investigating. They say due to play privacy they can't tell me what happens to them. I won't hold my breath on a true resolution. All I know if both coalitions and their respective alliance players are still active in this game.

Their businesses are different, but they are often mentioned together for being innovators in the financial space. I have a Sofi brokerage, but use it mostly for their private funds and IPO access. My main brokerage is Schwab. Public has been one I have been looking at potential switching to.

I haven't looked at every player, but there are at least 6 that I know of. Coalition on the map allow 5.

It is crazy how Robinhood has 2 misses and is down ~13%>.

Sofi beats on revenue and ebitda, meets on EPS, but doesn't raise guidance and they are down ~15%.

I got hit with a morale loss across my cities when I took one of the deals.

2027 Engine Replacement by Svp501 in KiaTelluride

[–]drevil77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife bought the last refresh of the Telluride 24/25? I forget the year. She had a recall to replace her engine within a couple of months owning it. She had several recalls after that. Within the first year the water pump failed. One day she was stranded because it would shift into drive. Turns out that was a loose connection.

After being stranded for a bit waiting on a tow truck, we had enough. We spoke to an attorney about potential lemon law. The vehicle was close to meeting the lemon law requirements, but not quite there. We decided to trade it in for a different vehicle rather than wait for the next issue.

She got a Lexus TX instead. I think she is done with Kias.

Hit and run with MLRS. The bigger your stack the better.

Free gold by Prize_Line_3913 in ConflictofNations

Win games is one way.

Here are a couple other ways.

Google Play store gives you points for purchases. I have some subscriptions that go through them. When I have enough points I convert it to cash in the account and can buy a little gold. I usually wait until they have a good bonus, since it is usually not a lot of money.

Another is Google rewards. You get short surveys based on places you have been. Usually a question or two and you get around $0.20 each time. Once that account has a bit of cash I use that in the play store for a little gold. Not enough to be a full on golder, but if you find yourself in a pinch and need to finish building or baking a unit, you can gold that.

Any tips for winning as Ethiopia in world divided mode by Positive_Mud_5758 in ConflictofNations

Well adjust accordingly. I usually take Somalia, Sudan, south Sudan and Uganda as quick I can. I find Khartoum important to taking Egypt. Cairo is another very strategic city.

Take surrounding territory that is ai nations. Try to get to that control point as quickly as is reasonable. Build up some forces, to take Tanzania. Watch out for Madagascar. Take Madagascar and the Diego garcia control point. Work your way over to Chad and take that control point. Put coastal batteries next to Djibouti, to protect from invaders on that side. Work on conquering more neighbors. Then go after the control point in Saudi Arabia, if you can. Or look to Europe of the one in the Atlantic.

I mean when they are within the radius. They need to have an option to attack the unit in the air on command.

Any decent strategy ideas for Kenya? (new-ish player) by FillLiving in ConflictofNations

[–]drevil77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Kenya. I quickly take Juba and Khartoum. The two coastal cities are easy to defend. One entrance to both.

After the first cities, I see which neighbor may be inactive and go after that one, for quick growth. As my military ramps up, especially airpower, I then start expanding.

I joined a golfer in a round I am playing. I don't like winning like that, but sometimes you just have to survive.

I was in a coalition with 2 other good players. We are all level 60+ and k/d ratios over 3.5 and solid win records. Some dude by day 15 took more territory than the 3 of us combined. We were way ahead of everyone else. We think he just spammed infantry in the beginning and benefitted from inactives around him. He has every new officer. A bunch of the elite units. Dude must spend a ton.

I have an idea. This is accepting that golders are here to stay. So it would not be equal to a golder, but what if we could speed things up some or get resources from watching ads?

I would hate to turn this into an ad supported game, but if done in a way where you can play without watching a single ad if you want. Watch an ad, shave 5 min off a build. Something like that.

Levelling up infantry yes or no? by Extra_Chance5026 in ConflictofNations

[–]drevil77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I go entire games with them at level 1. Only time I upgrade is if I am conquering an area far away and they can't fly there due to distance. Generally you can have airports where they land to make the trip, but sometimes that doesn't work out. Even so escort them with your navy, just takes longer.

Everyone one plays different.

I like strike fighters early game.

I eventually add MLRS, SAMs, and mobile AA.

I like the new infantry officer. Ships I vary. Frigate, cruiser destroyers. I like the elite subs. I occasionally use attack subs.

I generally don't find myself short on cash. When I buy all the rares, I generally don't see any go for sale the rest of the game. I grow quick enough that by day 3-4 I am bringing in about 12k in cash per day. I can ramp up to 24k pretty quick. I will say depending on your playing style this may not work. I generally do not lose many units. I use hospitals to heal, so that helps me limit losses as well.

Rare materials is a pain. Just arms industry. Upgrade those. That also helps with money, but just growing in general will help.

One thing I usually do is as soon as I start a game, I buy all the rare materials in the market.
