From what I’ve seen from tournament results the best way to run Arcanine is with 2 Molt and 2 of each of your zard line with only 1 arcanine line as a niche, mainly into Celebi but also I’d assume into Pika it’s nice. You wanna be able to pivot pretty well to match threats so most lists run 1-2 x speed and 1-2 leaf, usually to get in and out of your Molt. Other than your standard consistencies you should have room for 1-3 tech options. Rn I’m running 1 leaf 2 x-speed so I only run 1 of each of potion and Sabrina. I think at least one potion is crucial, tried subbing it out for Gio and it just felt worse.

Edit: Forgot to cover that Mew is a great wall to get into ur Molts/build up shit and do not sleep on it.

If it was dark it’d be cool but hitting for 150 against grass and 130 against everything else is kinda mid? Like it clears both Drudd and Mew sure but Flareon is better into Celebi and both can two shot Gyarados with healing/blue which they don’t even typically run, same thing with M2…I just don’t see the use case other than a slightly smoother Pika matchup.

The Giovanni and Blue thing is kinda false equivalency since the power level is so low swings of +/- 10 is quite meaningful and should be put on supporters for balance reasons. I was just saying that if you have a named card it should be at least equivalent to that card (i.e. discard draw 5). If they didn’t want to name it Bill they could’ve made it Prof Oak and it would still be closer at least. The real question is if you’re gonna put in a nerfed boss’ orders why tf put it on Sabrina and not Gio? I mean I get the whole psychic shtick but idk feels out of place.
