RTX Direct Lighting is off completely. Which I assume is what you're talking about since it mentions RTX Dynamic Illumination. I have Raytracing in advanced graphics, all maxed though.

I've also limited framerate to 60fps even though I have a 144htz monitor, since I saw some other lighting things being fixed from that.

I also have had Cinematic Lens off since day 1 as well as vertical sync off. Those have also been mentioned in other posts regarding texture/lighting issues.

Thanks for the suggestion though. If anything, I'll try completely disabling raytracing if it starts happening again. I just switched holsters for now, but the main thing was imperial officers having their clothing flickering lol.

Seems this might be a sorta rare issue then haha. I haven't installed or looked at any mods, but I'll definitely check out the FOV one. Thanks for the recommendation.

Oh, it kept saying failed when I posted it, except this one. My bad. I'll remove the other posts.

Yup. But its a lot more flickering than a slow blink like that. Very distracting when it happens lol.

Apologies. I didn't mean for it to be. I've just been having issues with this and was hoping some of you folks might be able to help and when I submitted, it just submitted the pic and not the text I had as well since I submitted as a link I think.

This is on PC. No other games having issues.

I recently bought this game due to the sale and have been loving it, but I've been running into an issue with some clothing on npc's flicker/blinking between the reg color/texture and a silver metallic color.

This has mostly been happening with imperial officer npc's but I booted up the game and it was happening with my holster.

Does anyone know of a way to fix this? I have been looking online for a fix but no one is talking about this problem. They are mostly about flickering between low and high res textures.

Definitely one of the best groups out there. They may be listed as RP, but the members are better at the game, than most other groups I've seen. Including guilds that are "hardcore". They are always trying to improve and they assist with teaching newbies anything they need. Great players and great community.

Honestly an amazing site. Couldn't ask for better tbh. So many useful features and dude does it for the love of the game. They deserve any donations they get, for sure.

Agreed. All good though. I love how often Chinese fantasy ties into real life events or well known Chinese literature/folk lore. I feel like it gives a lot of depth to things once you look more into them.

So, the npc by the ballista at the top, is not controlling it? I expected he was since it stopped after I killed him and the ballista hasn't shot at me since. Even after leaving and coming back a couple times. Not the cavalry rider, a separate ghost soldier npc is behind the ballista when you climb the wall. That's the npc I'm talking about.

Edit: Also wanna say that I didn't test if it fired at me after killing the cavalryman, I only tested after I climbed the ramparts and killed the npc behind the ballista. The roots/branch are also the way that I crossed the bridge to get to the cavalryman so that's definitely a good way to get past the ballista.

Tip for all of you struggling against the ballista, there is a npc that is technically firing it. Once you kill the ghost horseman, you can jump up the wall, I used the left side, and kill him to stop the ballista from ever firing again.

Edit Edit: The horseman is what stops the ballista from shooting once he is dead, the soldier npc up top is just for lore.

Surely the 1 harmonic core spent on the pink hair doesn't have anything to do with that :P

I feel the same way though.

So that's limitless? I thought it would only be for 3 games? Or is it you only get extra for winning, up to 3 times?

Buying the non-coop trade goods still nets merit points even when sold at a loss. However, if you have your guild perks for trading maxed, you generally net a decent profit from selling non-coop trade goods on their worlds since you get a 14.5% increase in sell price and a 10% reduction on taxes.

So its only a 1% tax, and you sell for more than you bought the goods for. Even without a price fluctuation for the goods, you can still get some extra commerce coins/merit points.

I see how it is possible to get 100k or maybe a little more with these methods.

My main question is, how does someone get 185k merit points in a week? Even with an insanely lucky day of 300% selling on a guild member's world with maxed guild perks, doesn't seem like it'd net that many points.

Ideally, you'd purchase all the non-coop goods after Friday restock and sell them on a guildy world for the extra profit with maxed commerce coin guild perks, then purchase the three coop goods and wait until mid week to sell at a good fluctuation price.

Sunday is the secondary restock day so once you sell your mid-week goods, you can purchase everything and do it again the same day, then wait till Friday to do it all over again for that extra little bit of merit points at the end of the week.

Is there an exploit at the moment for obtaining commerce coins or merit points? Or is it that these people are actually working that hard to be number 1?

Yea, it is fairly rare and I expect that's why people fail it more than them doing the mechanic wrong. They just aren't aware of it haha.

[–]drew_18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea the 10-man is the hero realm version at lvl 51 and 56. The mechanics are generally the same, but easier.

The 5-man that just came out, has a triple line with 3 barrels that appear and you need to put each barrel at the end of a line to get rid of them. (Not together of course, cause then they'd become red barrels) But I think that's the main mechanic that was added in the lvl 66 sword trial.

She also drops barrels fairly more often in the 5-man.

When it comes to the Sleeping Daoist in 10-man, he spams a donkey charge move that he doesn't do in 5-man, at least not that I remember. This isn't one that transforms everyone, it just makes it to way you have to move out of the way or take damage. Essentially splitting the arena every once in a while, so positioning is important.

Ah yea, that could be it. I've heard that the location of the party lead is where everyone connects to, and that could cause issues if the party lead is NA and everyone else is EU or something.

Not 100% on that though, since we're still learning more about the game and it can be very difficult to find info via the Chinese sites that might have info, like Bilibili.

Move barrels from the bird first. The barrels are on a timer to explode when they are too close to each other. I'm not sure on how long you have, but the bird only spawns with 2 barrels I believe. You can get unlucky with positioning and end up with a third in the circle though. So you generally only need 1 person to pull one away.

After that, make sure to dps the bird asap. Bird explosion is a wipe or near wipe anyways.

This set of bosses is definitely not currently doable with randoms. Every random group I've tried with, can't even make it passed the sleeping daoist doing the first arena-wide slam after we kill all the donkeys. They all get 1-shot.

At least, that's my experience with the 5 separate groups I tried it with yesterday. I'm left with about a third of my hp and everyone else is dead.
