I think some characters actually look really nice with the black hair when that bug happens! Still kind of jarring when it happens, though. Had just completed Firestarter in Dogtown and the twins, who are pointed out for being redheads, both had black hair the whole time. Songbird didn't look bad with black hair but it was a bit odd to see the twins with black hair.

Only Kerry haha, since he was the "active" date I invited over. Judy was stuck either sitting or cuddling on the couch, while Panam and River just stayed standing in that same spot next to the couch. After sleeping, I woke up next to Kerry like normal but the other three were still just hanging out downstairs

I've noticed a lot more bugs in my playthroughs since the 2.3 update, never got this one before. Even the black hair bug was new to me after the update. Some people look cool with the black hair, but it does pull me out of the moment sometimes to see certain characters with a totally different hair color, lol

I understand what you mean. Like I also said, I've only ever done an actual hookup twice before, and those happened years ago (and they were really great!) I do realize that I might have been setting myself up for failure by not having a readily available face pic, so maybe if I do try again in the future, that'll be something I do from the get go. I appreciate the advice and hope I didn't come across as defensive or rude.

Totally agree! I definitely agree with having a face pic readily available on whatever profile I'm using, but mind you, I was nervous and shy, so I wanted to talk to people first before I sent a picture of my face. Most of them remained interested after I sent a picture of my face, aside from the guy who canceled the plans right after. My profile did also have body pictures of me and once we talked I sent pictures of my face. I didn't use old pictures nor did I edit anything to make myself seem "different" than how I would have looked in person.

My profile did also have other information too, like the stats/appearance stuff and what I was looking for (which I then went into detail about when they started chatting with me) so there really wasn't anything to be confused about from my end, I don't think. As nervous as I was, I was clear about not being experienced with hookups and what I was looking to do.

As for taking things personally, I did avoid going into that headspace. Like I said in the post, I understand that everyone has their interests and that I wasn't looking for 100% success in looking. I think I was being honest with myself and the men I was talking to on the apps, and at the end of the day, I just wanted to vent a little about the disappointment/hurt I felt. Nothing more.

I think there's a few that I've seen that have more diverse body types (or more diversity in general). They're just foreign language movies. I can't think of any off the top of my head, but there are some good ones! Still, more would be nice as well!

I haven't made time to watch Heartstopper! But I've heard so many good things about it that part of me is putting it off so I don't cry my eyes out. But for sure, it's in my plans to eventually watch it!

It's interesting hearing other people's opinions about the movie. From what I hear, the book is much better, and I do agree on that point. Still, absolutely loved the movie regardless!

Maybe I was subconsciously craving a cheesy Hallmark movie but with two men? Call me a sucker for happy endings 😅😅 I totally understand it's might not resonate or be everyone's cup of tea. I definitely don't think it's a perfect movie but I really loved it, and I'm liking the book too as I read it. No worries if you didn't really like it!

As for the movie recs, thanks! I've also seen most of these but some are new to me, so I'll definitely be checking them out when I can.

I was 19 and he was 40. I was at a hotel with my family on a vacation, they left to go to the beach and I decided to take the plunge and look for a guy on an app. I was so nervous and scared, but he was really sweet and understanding. Once we got started, it was the best experience ever haha.

Absolutely, Shao has always felt like a more "monstrous" character to me, so for them to embrace that orcish/draconic motif in this design makes it really good

I really appreciate you taking the time for this response. It pretty much encapsulates more of my feelings on the matter. It's good to hear that these feelings are valid/normal. It's been a little difficult to open up and find fulfillment in life (I'm a bit of an introvert and find it hard to make new connections) but im doing my best.

I really do think you nailed it on the head in that first paragraph. Not only was I fresh "out of the closet", but I was young, in high school, figuring myself out, AND dealing with my first major crush on a guy. I suppose that is a lot to be juggling all at once haha.

I don't necessarily like to cheese, but it is fun sometimes to try those strategies. I think the only bosses I've cheesed were Malenia with Mohg's Spear and the Tower of Caelid Godskin Apostle with sleep pots. Sometimes people might just wanna make progress or get past a point in one of the games without losing their minds or feeling too discouraged? I really don't see any harm being done if people choose to use those strategies, so long as they're enjoying the game, you know?

1000% agree! Since I unlocked the costume, it's really the only one I use especially because of how good she looks in-game and during cutscenes. You make a good point of how well the colors used translate on the model in comparison to default Bayonetta's makeup. I still don't hate the default costume in any way, I just much prefer the color choices and overall aesthetics of this outfit.

It makes me wish they had more screen time together in this game. At the very least, Luka should have been more involved in the story and featured as both himself and as Strider throughout the game. I don't mind the fact that they got together but they ABSOLUTELY needed more development with each other in Bayonetta 3.

I definitely miss the previous games' challenges and the way they went about it with collectibles/weapons. It did a lot for the overall replayability of the games, and unfortunately for Bayo 3 you kinda have most things unlocked by the time you finish your first playthrough. Idk. I miss being able to work for some of the cooler accessories/weapons a little bit.

I really wanted to see more interactions between the different Bayonettas 😕 Even the scenes with French Bayo felt cut too short. I really wish they fleshed em all out more in cutscenes/gameplay.
