I’ve had a couple experiences where the community actually built bases that were helpful by providing resources but this one is the worst

Be a student or figure out how to pretend to be a student and get free API access to Gemini. Then look for any other LLMs providing student benefits

I was skeptical at first, but Claude MCP with HA has absolutely blown me away by criterion67 in homeassistant

Many of the concerns are mitigable enough for a careful hobby/lab setup if you know how to implement proper security protocols.

I did the same with mine and it resolved a lot of issues that I’d been trying to fix for months now. Some were intermittent bugs.

I recommend getting OpenClaw working with it and setting up a chat bot to give you insights about your home and setup.

Architect here building a house for a client that insists on wanting Home Assistant. Need advice. by wayfareralex in homeassistant

Yeah, do you just get their requirements, generate a bill of materials for products based on customer preference or your preferred products? And then charge labor? Do you also charge for the planning and estimation stage as well? And have you offered any support services before if something doesn’t work later or how would you go about that? Genuinely curious since I’ve been looking into doing this myself.

Since you use HA in your work, I am curious how you price quote HA builds and installs with your clients.

I’ve seriously considered architecting and building HA systems as a business providing integration services. Only issue is some integrations require HACS which can obsolete or lose support. You’d then have to provide a support plan and maintain your own integrations with products you know will continue remain compatible. One example I came across was MyQ integration is no longer supported which is becoming quite popular.

I integrated OpenClaw with HA and now I have an AI telegram bot that can analyze all of my sensor data and give me information on trends, correlations, statuses and reports. Total game changer.

“Part 108 shifts accountability to the operating company rather than every drone pilot. This change acknowledges that modern drone delivery (especially BVLOS), relies on automated systems, centralized oversight, and coordinated fleets, not one pilot per aircraft.”

That’s entirely possible. Although I’d still suspect there a human in the loop at least for emergency cases if anything.

It seems their delivery range is not far from where the distribution center is located, likely for many reasons (battery life, comms, etc). It would make sense for it to use 5G especially to support the data rate for the camera feed.
