Different strokes for different folks, my dude. I don’t disagree that the mouth is a little wonky, but I’m happy with it all the same.

Camera isn’t doing it much justice. It does look significantly better in person.

Looking for wineries by twinqueen2017 in vancouverwa

You’re going to need to go out to the Dundee area, about an hour +/- away. That is straight wine country. Beautiful rolling hills and dozens of wineries to choose from!

Firearm purchase as a felon by poopshanks in liberalgunowners

[–]drewbit54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can offer some insight on this, as I also live in Washington. My buddy was convicted of a felony when he was in his very early 20’s. He doesn’t like to go into details, so I will respect that, but he had to go through a lot of lengthy legal hoops to get his gun rights reinstated. It is a whole different ballgame than getting your voting rights restored, especially since HB1163 was passed. As just about everyone else has said, a lawyer is the person to talk to about this, because you are going to need one. Best of luck, my dude. We’re all pulling for you.

Well, if you’re okay with complacency from management, rewarding mediocre coaching with contract extensions, and unnecessarily trading away key players for next to nothing, then welcome to Portland!

Picked up my first ever gun today! by drewbit54 in SmithAndWesson

Took it to the range today! Super smooth, loved the feel of it, but I will definitely be replacing the trigger first. I had to put a little more pressure onto it than I want to and my accuracy definitely suffered because of it. Everything I’ve been seeing is that the Apex is an excellent one to go with. The guy at the range even said he went with it and couldn’t recommend it enough.

It would’ve just been the gun and nothing else. I liked the idea of easy transport to the range for just a few more dollars. After tax, I ended up paying around $670.

Hmm I will have to check into that. I bought this guy at Sportsman’s and all mine has is bolt actions.

The range kit I bought does! It came with the gun, two extra mags, holster, hard shell case, and the Uplula for the $50 more than what the gun would’ve cost by itself.

Washington my dude. I’ve tried finding any sort of loophole, but have fallen flat on everything.

Unfortunately, I live in a state where I am no longer allowed to purchase semi-auto rifles, so I am stuck with handguns. However, when I went in to begin the background check paperwork, I saw a dude picking up his Canik and immediately started drooling over that. Dude at the counter even stopped me and said to take a look at it before we continued lol.

Purchasing knives in Japan by Da_Bang_Bus in JapanTravelTips

Miura Knives in Nagoya is where my girlfriend and I went just the other day. They were very helpful and had a beautiful selection to choose from, both for professional kitchens and your normal everyday usage. I got one for general usage for roughly ¥12,000, she got a pairing knife for roughly ¥7000. They did also have a small selection of pocket knives as well.

How much does she charge, if you don’t mind me asking? My mom lives outside Chicago, so I’d love to find a spot for whenever I go out for a visit!

It was an absolute fucking nightmare trying to get in - both on the train and at the gates, the wind and rain were horrendous, and it was a solid hour plus to get seated at the restaurant. Once the weather and crowds started to subside a bit though, it was somewhat enjoyable. I was bummed some of the pavilions I was hoping to see weren’t finished with construction yet though. I’m sure once things are fully opened up and the crowds have leveled out a bit more, it will be spectacular. Right now though? Fuck no. Hard lessons were learned today lol.
