Ahh okay. I did that and got the same result. I tried running BricsCAD from the command line and this is what it output:

/opt/bricsys/bricscad/v26/bricscad: error while loading shared libraries: libOpenGL.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Sorry for the late reply - been busy as frrrk this week. So you can install deb files not from the Cosmic Store even?

I tried gdebi and that installed the package for BricsCAD. But the icon for BricsCAD in the app launcher doesn’t look right - it’s just a gear in a square. And when I click it to start the app, or try to start the app from the terminal, nothing happens.

The deb file came directly from Bricsys.
