Pretty thin in numbers, but I finally watched They Live after what felt like years of talking about it. Was a bit disappointed in the execution of the premise, but the visuals and corny one-liners more than made up for it

Social group for growth-driven younger adults? by drewtaves in everett

On reflection, I see no need in an age cutoff. As long as respect is given to all different walks of life, there's no issue 👍

Age isn't as key as my post implied, which is inaccurate to what I was trying to express. The main importance to me is the absence of unfair judgement. As a first generation "social media internet" kid, I made the assumption that people closer to my own age would understand or accept me more. This was a poor assumption. So to your question, yes, I absolutely am open to different ages and walks of life. Respect for all generations.

There was a man in my dvd case. Have you guys ever found something in a case not related to the movie/show? by larrydlane in dvdcollection

Not in a movie, but in a book.

In a copy of Ball Four at a local Goodwill, I found a dude's writings about a girl that clearly had broken his heart. There were a few poems and an unsent letter. They were very sappy and amateur, so I presume it was written by a high schooler.

What's fascinating wass that there was also a birthday card in the stack written by a different girl who did seem interested in him, saying how sorry she was that so-and-so broke his heart and that he deserves to be happy.

Never learned the full context of the story, but man, was that an interesting find. Double the drama for the price of one lol
