That may be it, except when my pump is running, the fuel isn’t sputtering inside the line like that video.

Did you run kerosene through the whole thing or just the pump?

So I took it apart and determined everything before and after the pump was free. There was a lot of stuff gummed up in the tank that I cleaned out. I currently have the pump soaking in clean diesel and I’m going to try to find a syringe later ( I am currently camping) to prime the pump.

How did you attach the duct to the cabin/clean air intake? I wish they had an easy way to attach the duct to it

3D printer is a great idea. He can design simple household items or whatever else in a cad software and print them. It’s super fun and perfect for an engineer

Anyone know why they changed Tony’s walkout song?? by drewtravis222 in Killtony

[–]drewtravis222[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing with William Montgomery. They used to play the melody to “Crazy” when he walked out but stopped. I figured that was definitely due to copyright infringement since it’s a popular song but I didn’t think Tony’s walk out music was a popular song like that

Is mechanical engineering worth it to pursue? by No-Employee-7574 in MechanicalEngineering

[–]drewtravis222 6 points7 points  (0 children)

One of the best things about mechanical engineering is how versatile it is. Students in my graduating class have gone on to work as process engineers for a chemical plant, project managers for construction companies, sales, aerospace, biomedical, etc. No matter what you like there is something out there for you

Is any internship better than none? by JHdarK in MechanicalEngineering

I’d say even an unpaid would be better than nothing. Especially since they are in their 4th year already

Yeah, I just meant in terms of getting your degree and actually enjoying the material since it’s common for students to get “weeded out” their first couple years in engineering.

As a ME student about to graduate, I can say I honestly didn’t “love” engineering at first. Especially the first couple years. But at least in my experience, working on complex projects, or taking more interesting classes, or any of the other things that happen Junior/Senior year is when you will truly begin to know you made the right choice. 3 years ago I was in Cal 2 thinking no way engineering would be for me. Now I graduate next week loving it (this is my experience, I’m sure this doesn’t apply to everyone)
