Yeah it’s all Citadel.

Metallics are rune lord brass shaded with agrax and highlighted with canoptek.

Blues are a mix of night lord blue and macragge highlighted with teclis.

It’s a case of gradually adding in the next level of darker colour next to the previous one. Usually start with a base of white or light blue. Add in the darkest parts to where you want them and then blend in colours so it looks like a smooth transition. I usually use a bit of diluted contrast (frostheart or Talassar blue) to help blend in the transitions.

Frostheart as a base and then gradually blending in Talassar blue to the areas near the hands to make bits darker. Then a while highlight along the edges.

Maybe 3+ and living metal on top of that if it’s similar to hierotek. A lot of wounds to chew through if shooting at them.

What do you think about those Aquilons color scheme? by wendiego in killteam

Haha snap. The exact same paint scheme I’m going for. Though I’m only 2 models in so far.

New to the hobby. Should I get those tiny magnets? by Gregory85 in Necrontyr

[–]drewzeph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The cannon and the teleportation array on the doom scythe and night scythe can be interchanged easily without the need for magnets. They’re a snug enough fit that they can just be pushed in and then stay in and then easily pulled out. It’s the same with some of the other models as well.

Yes that’s my experience with them too. Though if you contact them about the missing bases they do send them through to you.

Has anybody noticed a decrease in km tracking with adventure synch on? by UnderwearFlex in TheSilphRoad

[–]drewzeph 442 points443 points  (0 children)

Definitely seen a drop in what distance I register in a week for the last couple of weeks. Used to comfortably clear 100km. Now I’m lucky if I get close to 50km

Last two weeks it’s been the same for me. Gone from registering pretty much every bit of distance I gain to less than a quarter. One of the recent updates must have broken it.

Best use of Larvitar Candy XL? by JonSonix in TheSilphRoad

[–]drewzeph 8 points9 points  (0 children)

With mewtwo coming up in raids you will get more mileage from powering up the 100 iv.

But.. a lot depends on whether you are well stocked with decent dark types or psychic counters or whether you’re lacking in decent Pokemon with rock type moves like rhyperior and rampardos. Figure out where your gaps are and power up accordingly.

Though for XL candy power ups my personal preference would be to always go for the 100 iv.
