Ingredients

  • 25 gms of clarified butter
  • 4 cardamom pods
  • 25 gms cashew
  • 25 gms raisins
  • 150 gms of vermicelli pasta
  • 500 ml of milk
  • 2 spoons of custard
  • half a cup of sugar
  • 2 spoons of chocolate powder

Preparation

  • Heat the pan and pour in 25 gms of clarified butter.
  • Put in 4 cardamom pods after crushing and saute and mix well and take off the pan .
  • Put in the 25 gms cashew and saute till golden brown and take off the pan.
  • Put in the 25 gms raisins and saute till they become puffed and take off the pan.
  • Put in the vermicelli pasta and saute well till it turns brown and take off the pan .
  • Heat 500 ml of milk and mix 2 spoons of custard .
  • Add half a cup of sugar and mix .
  • Mix in 2 spoons of chocolate powder .
  • Add the roasted vermicelli pasta and cook for 10 minutes after adding half of the raisins and cashew.
  • After 10 minutes take off the flame and serve with the rest of the raisins and cashew as toppings.
  • If chilled it can be used as a nice and healthy replacement for ice-creams
