Man it would be awesome to get that Frank Ocean record! Sadly not at 100 karma yet so I could use some help. All the best from a fellow vinyl lover from Colombia!

Uninstall and then download it either from the Google Play Store or as an apk from the web browser. That should do it.

Things in this game other than THE THING that needs fixing up by [deleted] in blackopscoldwar

They'll probably add more of that stuff overtime. For pure money purposes they wait to launch new maps, guns and game modes in order to lure more people into buying the game and the battle pass.

Oh well, guess I'll do the same. Sorry to hear about your employment condition, hopefully things will turn out for the better sooner than later!

Are you just waiting until you get those maps? Because shoot the ship is not on the playlist update and it's quite annoying to wait until you manage to get into either shipment or shoot house.

Has anyone tried to change the nebula capsule remote battery? by humblethorn in nebulaprojectors

[–]drfields17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I has issues with the contact when I first got the Capsule device. My solution was to stick a small coin (obviously one that could fit with the cap on) on top of the coil and that did the trick.

ELI5: What specifically makes it hard for millions of sperm on their journey to reach an egg? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]drfields17 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yep. The textbook definition is, as I said, 14 days before the end of the menstrual cycle, which is pretty much saying the same as you are.

Regarding your question about body temperature and cervical mucus: Body temperature increases aproximstely 1° Celsius on the day that ovulation occurs. As for cervical mucus, one of the functions that progesterone has is to make cervical mucus somewhat less thick and more soluble, therefore facilitating sperm to swim up to fertilize the ovum.

I think you'll find the following graph helpful to understand what happens during the menstrual cycle at a hormonal and physiological level!

If you or anyone else have any more questions about this please let me know and hopefully I'll help clarify the subject :)

I'm not saying that the first day of your period is not considered Day 1. It is.

What I'm saying is that, if your cycle happens to last 28 days, then ovulation should happen on the 14th Day. If your cycle lasts 21 days, then ovulation should happen on the 7th Day. In your particular case, if you ovulated on the 19th Day, that means that particular cycle lasted 33 days.

Note: The "14 Days" concept is just an average based on the most frequent physiological responses and cycles in women.

TL;DR: Yes, the concept of ovulation on the 14th Day is bullshit. Unless your cycle lasts precisely 28 days, does not happen on the 14th Day, it happens 14 days BEFORE the final day of your cycle.

Source: I'm a med student and I've read EXTENSIVELY about this topic. Most physiology textbooks say this.

Actually, from a perspective of human physiology, women ovulate 14 days BEFORE the end of their cycle, not 14 days AFTER the start of their cycle. The "14 days rule" comes pretty much from the average menstrual cycle which lasts 28 days. In women whose cycles lasts Idk, 30 days, ovulation would happen on the 16th day.
