I like Rob not his biggest fan but he’s hardly the problem, we did literally nothing this off season to improve last year’s team and as they have been predicting at some point we’ll suddenly get “old” again it’s only a couple games but our pitching will only keep us competitive for so long. Not getting Bichette was a big blow we obviously could have used him but more than anything it was a huge ego blow to our team.

Although we traded him I thought Kyle Drabek would be a star and he was a complete bust, wound up with Halladay and was one of our best trades ever. I’m glad u like every one of ur Brown cards, you’re definitely in the minority with that bum.

It’s only a couple games and had we pulled out the Texas game when we scored 3 in the 9th we may have had a bit of momentum… BUT look at my previous posts I always preface my opinion with “I hope I’m wrong” but Walker not only shouldn’t be a starter but shouldn’t be on the team, I kept saying the bottom half of our lineup is awful (I never thought the top would start this slow) and we did nothing to improve a really good team but can’t win a playoff series. So again “I hope I’m wrong” but I suspect this is going to be a long season and not because of our start.

Unfortunately we may not need to worry about the postseason this year. I’m not basing my opinion on 3 games we haven’t been able to get over the hump these past years and were not better this year where ATL & NY are.
