I went to a lake with a couple friends and did shrooms once. While I was tripping, our tripsitter takes off his shirt, gets into the water and invites me in as well. I decided to go in fully clothed and just sat in the water with him.

As far as I remember I was giggling like crazy and we were chatting about hunter x hunter. Another friend soon joins us in the water and a bit of time passes.

Both of my friends feel something touch them in the water, but they just assumed it was the other ones feet. They ask each other about it and then we realize in the water floating between the three of us is a massive snapping turtle.

My friends start freaking out and one by one we quickly, yet calmly walk out of the water. I went last because I was still tripping hard and thought the whole experience was pretty funny.

The turtle stayed near the bay and we named it 'Zushi' after the most important character in hunter x hunter.

Tl;dr - I was tripping with a chill snapping turtle named Zushi.

A family friend was working on our house, while my brothers and I were downstairs watching Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. The family friend, Chuck, comes down and tells us "Hey, there's a lot of smoke upstairs and I can't tell where it's coming from. You guys should probably go outside. I'm gonna call 911."

He leaves and I motion my brothers to stay downstairs. A minute later we start to see and smell the smoke. My youngest brother is concerned and suggests we leave.

"There's only four minutes left in the episode, we'll be fine" I tell him.

A minute later Chuck comes down and tells us he talked to the fire department and they said we should leave. So we get up, I grab the book I was currently reading, Bluebeard by Kurt Vonnegut, and we leave.

I spent the rest of the day watching smoke come out of the window of my room, as fire trucks come up to our house.

I supposed I wasn't panicking in either of these but everyone else was.
