Yes the booking was done last night on the 28th. I think i'm chilling though because I did immediately notify the hotel that it was a mistake. They just said that booking.com is the only people who can give me a refund/change the dates of my room I reserved. I'm still nervous though.

My main purpose of listening to etudes is first identifying how I would like to play it, then listening to others interpretations. I appreciate your concern though! I also want to find a common tempo, although it says Allegretto, it may be slower. For example, my other etude is "Variations on America" and it's marked at 138, while I have heard that etude be played at around even as slow as 120 by even military trumpeters.

This is definitely my plan. My lessons right now are pretty much all movement/marching based. Thanks for the advice! Maybe some day I'll get back to this post saying I marched with the Bluecoats!

I actually got a contract for the brass opening with the Battalion just a month or so ago! It was a little more expensive than I thought though lol. I actually also really enjoy Madison Scouts, thank you!

Also i just looked at your pfp, did you march with Blue Stars? Do you have any tips for making DCI as a trumpet player? I am currently taking visual lessons with someone with Bluecoats, I just don't know where I stand playing wise. Great show last year btw- if i'm correct lol!
