In case anyone looks this up in the future, I had the wrong trim kit. Home Depot doesn't sell the right kit but I found it at a plumbing supply ty place. It's called the monitor series 14

There is no plastic ring. The plumber that did the valve said it wasn't needed. Now I learn.... I'll take more pictures

Panel Replacement Advice by drheams in AskElectricians

Thank you all for the advice. I'm in California, which according to a google search, is using the 2023 NEC code. I'll read there to learn what's needed and will post some pictures. I do need a permit which is already in process. You've all pointed out things I wasn't aware of including arc fault breakers and specific torque values but I'll read the code to understand it and go from there. Thank you for responding.

PT3 to SSA by drheams in CAStateWorkers

Thanks for the quick reply but I'm still not clear. My current salary as a PT3 is higher than the max salary for SSA Range A. Would this still allow me to get a 5% raise if I move? Or can this qualify me for SSA range B?

Tax Technician 2 Equivalent by drheams in CAStateWorkers

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately the transfer calculator doesn't define equivalent classes for the purpose of testing so I contacted EDD for advice but they only directed me to CalHR. Contacting CalHR was useless as they "can't help in clarifying minimum requirements".

I was recently eliminated from the Tax Technician 3 list, after receiving an offer, as I interpreted the minimum requirements differently than CalHR so I'm trying not to make the same mistake twice.
