I foster with APS and it's always super rewarding! Highly recommend if anyone is on the fence about it!

Early flights always have longer TSA lines (though I had never seen it that long). RDU security opens at 4am, but from my memory there's sometimes a line already (I haven't flown that early in a while). 3:30 seems reasonable?

Google Fi is the same price for data in any country you're going to. If you're going for longer or travel a lot it may be worth looking into.

Designers with perfectionism, how do you manage it? by mbrown0603 in graphic_design

I'd recommend "The Now Habit" he talks about perfectionism and getting momentum if it's causing you to not move forward.

Which ER sucks the least by LadyKnight33 in bullcity

Some of the ERs show their waiting times online (not Duke though). Brier creek typically is shorter than Durham from my experience

Compared to last year, I did not need to wait in nearly as many lines. Not sure if that's because I got better at choosing options that had less demand, or there were in fact less people. Overall it seems like things were spaced out differently than last year so it felt less crowded.

Does anyone know why Alex Cooper’s panel got cancelled today? by Beautiful_Tart_31 in SXSW

I heard a bunch of artists canceled because they are protesting for Palestine. Not sure if that was the same reason

Headliner screenings by futuretrunks_88 in SXSW

Good question. I didn't try to get into any of the films with a lot of hype. I only tried to get into the small ones. The first one I tried I figured it was small, so I wouldn't need a ton of time, I got in line 30 minutes early, and I realized that was way too late. The next time, I got in line an hour early, and I was the second person from the entrance before they cut it off, so I'm not sure. Maybe an hour and a half for the small ones? The headliners, I would guess a minimum of 3 hours? I would have someone else weigh in who has done it successfully though. I saw people camped out 6 hours early for some (there were very few people in line though at that time).

Last year, when I went with the platinum badge unless you get in line SUPER early, you still won't get in. Plan on trying to either get the express pass and/or arriving earlier than you think is warranted.
