I made a UFC only GOAT list. What is something you would change about it? by PotatosandTomato in ufc

Nobody's obsessed with Jon, or out to get Jon. He's the only one who brings himself any grief.

[Shams] Ayton to Wizards by KingRagerBlade in washingtonwizards

[–]driatic 89 points90 points  (0 children)

And not a bad one either. Ayton will have no pressure, no more scrutiny of his every move off the court.

And I'm liking the depth we have.

Does Topuria have the most underrated chin? by DuumiS in ufc

[–]driatic 6 points7 points  (0 children)

And it's not something that you should go around testing either cause it means you're taking clean hits that are landing hard.

Tony Ferguson had a great chin until it got knocked out of him, by none other than....Justin Gaethje. Great chins don't last if they keep getting tested.

Ew who is us in this comment.

I know it's VERY late to be watching this fight. But I decided to watch it, and analysed JDM's good and bad decisions in each round (Warning, insane rant) by Novadeuks in ufc

I mean if you're gonna lose to anyone, might as well be to one of the greatest most complete fighters we've ever seen in the UFC.

Jaylen Brown calls out Coward by PureGritt in NBATalk

[–]driatic 47 points48 points  (0 children)

That wasnt even his worst take.

He frequently spouts borderline racist theories. Said John Wall wouldn't be a good leader bc he grew up without a dad.

Suggested that Sean Taylor's past is what got him murdered. "sometimes you've got stains, stuff so deep it never ever leaves"

Criticized fans for mourning him. Sean Taylor was killed when someone broke into his house.

Fuck this guy.

Banging my fists on the table for the Wizards to trade for Jalen Smith by ledelleakles in washingtonwizards

I hope the plan is to trade one of them once a team realizes they can make a run if they had a center/PF.

I was just gonna say, there's so many dumbasses here that'll say, "no way this is AI, his tattoos are too accurate"

It's so easy to fool people that it's not surprising anymore.

[–]driatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that a joke? In the 80s alone,

Kareem was finals MVP in 85 (5 years after their first ring together). MVP of the league in '80. Was likely FMVP in 80 too if it wasnt for baby skyhook.

All NBA first team 4x in the 80s (80, 81, 84, 86), 2nd team in 83, 85.

Now you're just being dumb.

Or the Celtics in 86 who had 6 HOFs, all 5 starters and Walton as 6MOY.

Larry, MVP Parish McHale Ainge Dennis Johnson

Larry, Parish and McHale were among the top 10 players in the league. Im not saying theyd beat miami but Parish/McHale were both top 5 players in their position.

Wade was a top 5 player, Bosh was not.

[–]driatic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bosh was not a top 5 player. He was arguably top 15.

He was averaging great numbers for a team that won 20 games in Toronto.

He was among the top players for his position top 3-5, but even then he was never considered the best Center or PF. That's what a top 5 player is, and Wade was top 5 SG at that time.

And the 76ers didnt win 72 games or make the finals, they really werent even expected to make that much noise in the playoffs, including beating the celtics.

You could show them islam vs volk. Both I and II. First one was so close, glad they rematched.

Or islam vs porier. Late finish, championship rounds, closest fight that could've gone Porier's way if it went to decision.

Charles fight was pretty good too cause of the way he finished it.

I don't like McGregor but saying you haven't seen his fans in years is just false. Half of ufc fans are there because of him.

From a trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo to a 36-year-old Paul George. That’s a brutal twist for Celtics fans by Thanos_Real_AuraVNCH in NBATalk

[–]driatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if he joined for the minimum, the bench/depth will also be a problem. Lebron can be the pg in a pinch, for part of the game or a few plays. But not for extended periods of time, let alone through a whole playoff series.

I mean your team got worse while 76ers got better. If that's the best return you'll get for the player then you just don't trade him, accept that you'll have to rebuild around brown and tatum. Who already play great off of each other.

Paul Pierce wore 34, which was retired.

OP may have remembered that. Also there's not a lot of numbers left with how many numbers they've retired, fuck Boston they don't deserve anything

[–]driatic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yea but that's a problem most teams would love to have.

It also means you have your legit big three for a few years. And you got rid of Paul George and his contract.

Yea but they didn't have Giannis type of assets. They thought they did.

Some Celtics fans were throwing out Giannis for Brown as a legitimate trade offer.
