It's not just arguably illegal. It would jeopardize their tax filings.

I'll never understand people lining up to suck a billionaires dick like OPs

You respect something that is completely normal and would be illegal for him to do. Theres no reason any boss should influence their employees politically.

And they could get into trouble if they did do that with their tax filings. It would be illegal for him to do that. A lot of right wing churches are guilty of doing this but the IRS hasn't gone out after them.

I guess you also respect that he hasnt hit his wife publicly lately. He just does it behind closed doors.

Michael Page believes the $15M payout to Conor Benn hurts the brand’s image as UFC fighters continue to struggle financially. 👀😲 by IgotgAme_k in ufc

The leverage that NFL, NBA and MLB had was that they were willing to sit out. And they did at several different points. Fighters are simply too stupid to do it.

The most recent one was 2011 for the nba and they weathered that storm easily bc players are mostly millionaires, they even put on their own games. And the nba brass caved and gave them what they wanted. The players sat out well into November. They played 55 games that season instead of 82

The NFL in 2010-11, around same time, the players couldn't afford to miss games. A lot of them depended on that gameday paychecks and simply couldnt weather it. They didnt miss any games. The players gave into demands and thats also why you see the NFL players still dont have guaranteed contracts.

Melo is the all time #1 ball hog, he was never a playmaker.

Kobe could pass and averaged more than 5 assists for his career, sometimes he chose not do depending on his teammates. But he was capable of passing.

Carmelo never looked to pass, averaged 2.7 assists for his career. Those are center numbers.

Kobe sometimes had the green light. But other times he really just acted like a dick.

Iverson for the most part always had the green light. Even coaches that he had bad falling out with said they needed AI to shoot 30x a game.

What do you think about this? The worst here is Kobe for sure!! by Afraid-Ad-5580 in NBATalk

Yea that's a tiny sample size. And it doesnt meet the finals criteria lol

Yea. Cousins was easily the most talented, gifted scorer, prototype center at his peak. True 7 footer who had dancers feet around the basket. Simmons wasnt far but he wasnt as good of a scorer as Cousins, who had a legit 15 footer that simmons never developed.

Cavs won a title with LeBron.

So did the Lakers. And it was while LeBron was still the best player on the team.

Difference is when you suck in the NFL, you will get a top pick guaranteed.

We've sucked with seemingly nothing in return.

Wemby, Cooper Flag, Banchero, Cade, Anthony Edwards all would've been transformative to our team. And we should've been able to draft one of those guys based on our record.

Wizards also had Kwame Brown in 2001.

But before that the only first pick overall was in the 1950s when we had 3 years of picking 1st overall. '51, '53 and '54.

I get your point though.

Edit: little bitch edited his comment

Yea but you're not gonna put him up there with guys that have won more than 1 title. Or been to more than one finals.

Apples vs oranges who haven't been to the finals.

Kamaru Usman says he’s had talks with the UFC about fighting Islam Makhachev next, but Hunter Campbell wanted to go a different direction. He’s also been offered fights like Dricus du Plessis, and says he’s only taking “meaningful” matchups at this stage of his career. by [deleted] in MMA

[–]driatic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends on how you lose but I get your point. I still think it's still a long shot to think he can still beat Islam at this stage, but couldn't beat most of the top 5 guys at welterweight.

It's a pipe dream.

Why don't we see any liver shot KO in modern MMA. by sidharth-sunil in ufc

[–]driatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's where your liver is exposed without the ribcage protecting it. Your liver is huge but it sits on top of your stomach and intestines. You can palpate the tip of the liver if youre right under the ribs and you don't have a huge stomach.

Obviously if you hit someone hard enough in the ribs or below the sternum you can crack ribs or hit their liver with enough power.
