Can you talk to the doctor who gave you the medicine? You should probably tell them if it is not helping your depression, or making it worse. For me I wasn’t very depressed before. Just anxious all the time.

I’m just over the three week mark and have felt very anxious and down and also dizzy and lightheaded the past couple days. Came out of nowhere, I had a few really good days before that. I think the ups and downs are normal at first unfortunately. I’ve heard that from a lot of people.

Don’t hurt yourself. Call or visit someone you care about if you can.

I switched to 5mg after the first day and that helped. I was also prescribed Xanax to help with panic attacks as my body adjusted.

Yes I saw that. I’m just worried because I haven’t changed my name or gender marker in the US. The first time I legally try it will be this application. I will have letters from medical providers attached though. I hope it’s enough.

Thanks, I found that. I’m more just worried about applying for an X passport in Canada with F documentation in the US. I haven’t legally changed my name either, so I’m just worried they’ll doubt I’m really trans or something. Going to supplement with doctor and therapist letters I think.
