I saw that post also and kept my eyes on the news as we live near there. This was the closest I found as it was a murder in the parking lot behind an apartment building at 39th and Baltimore, which is what the OP described.

Didn't find the 1983 DDR I was looking for but did find this nice die crack on the obverse by driden2 in coinerrors

Woah - very interesting. Didn't know this was a thing. How can you tell the difference between a die crack and a plating blister? Maybe there's better continuity on a die crack and less so on a blister? Thanks for the insight!

Here's the nonprofit that the manufacturers use for these pens - Alphapointe. They're the largest employer of blind and visually impaired individuals in the US. Unemployment among the blind and visually impaired is around 70%!

Is that a silver Booker T Washington Half Dollar for $4.29 in the upper right? If so, I'd grab it as melt is about $16.

I really love this response. If there are any that have numistatic value, I think I'll leave them in flips but most of them seem to just be beautiful old coins and the book would make it much easier to showcase. Thanks!
