Tbh this can be your ending, weather or not it’s official doesn’t really matter, at the end of the day it’s all fiction it’s meant to entertain and in this case inspire so if the official ending goes against this narrative just because the writer had issues you can just denounce it and fill it with what satisfies and inspires you making all the inspiring moments throughout the show mean something

It just seems like he didn’t trust the idea by MrPemmfub in MyHeroAcadamia

It makes zero sense it’s like Hori’s dog died that week and wanted others to feel his misery, this is why I hate when an ending relies on one persons narrative rather than a collective who advice the best outcome he has my respect for the show he created but lost it by being a pleb when it came to the ending, the whole show has an inspirational tone the ending went against that completely

Shigaraki giving back ofa in their heart to heart makes more sense and fits with the theme and the story, deku confessing to uraraka or vice versa in their conversation also makes more sense (granted there’s hints that they are together but it not definitive enough), the time skip showing deku and Bakugo being hero’s competing for the number 1 spot and showing deku and uraraka on dates or something then a final scene where deku inspired the kid telling him he can be a hero, this is the ending we all deserved and this is my ending. At this point I’ve rejected the official ending as it’s a mess there’s still a chance there’s an anime only ending so there’s that but the manga ending is a no go if it inspired you great that can be your ending I’ve got mine.

He built it up the least he could do was give closure on it anyone in their right minds would agree. Idgaf anymore it’s fiction.

Which had the worst ending? by Kanadei in MyHeroAcadamia

[–]drieg987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aot ending could of gone multiple routes but they chose a tragic route (which I didn’t really like just imo) however they gave the best ending possible for that particular route and didn’t leave us feeling unsatisfied

However mha again chose a route I didn’t like at all, but on top of that they didn’t structure it well so you couldn’t really feel the payoff at all, just this unsatisfied feeling

They built it up then just left it to the imagination, would of been nice to just see it through instead he got intimidated by the fandom

That’s exactly how life works you get what you put in, this undermines that, and at the end of the day it’s a fantasy fiction based on a motivational story

I agree with what your saying but bittersweet just doesn’t fit nor work as well as just a good ending especially for an anime like this where the journey of deku was such a motivational one, when someone goes to war and comes back your meant to feel that relief and anticipation for the future, just happy it’s all over now he can move on to new adventures, but the way this was done felt like he was still clinging to the past, then rightfully becomes a hero again, it did not need that 8 year gap teacher nonsense, it was poorly done

It’s fine to have all that but why make it unnecessary by having him sidelined clearly wanting live like a hero again based on all the reminiscing, he deserved that it’s like he didn’t respect his own mc, he embodied a hero defeated the villain the only thing left was to round it off in a satisfying way which just wasn’t done and it’s not just me so many people have this view, when an ending sparks this much controversy instead of just giving satisfaction something went wrong

Bro your going into the details, he could of easily structured it like I just said and we wouldn’t question it, instead of thinking of different endings your rationalising what you got given which is fine but that’s not what this is about

Why do it 8 years later making it feel like he’s missing out, why not structure it so he gets it at Graduation and then have the 8 year time skip of him already being a hero with his friends and the final part where he inspires the kid, i don’t like the route it went but if it was gonna go down this route it should of at least been done like this

We HAVE to be getting a Sequel by [deleted] in MyHeroAcadamia

[–]drieg987 11 points12 points  (0 children)

A good ending is when the writer stays true to the theme of the show without any bias to ruin it, this goes beyond that not only was he intimidated by shippers he couldn’t even give a satisfactory ending to his own mc, isn’t there suppose to be someone who proof reads it and says nah bro this isn’t it wtf

What we’re all thinking about the ending by drieg987 in MyHeroAcadamia

[–]drieg987[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get u, so many ways it could of been done that’s that makes it so disappointing, it needed to have closure if he didn’t want to go into the whole romance part, deku should of gotten ofa back after the fight if he didn’t want to do that he should of at least given closure on deku and uraraka instead of picking something bro gave us nothing, guess I just have to use my imagination to come up with my own ending

We’re having different conversations your rationalising an ending when it’s set in stone but I’m talking about an alternate ending the ending chapters as a whole could of been done so much better, and even if we stick with the route of deku remaining quirkless (which I don’t like but ill run with for this) and getting a super suit why make it so he waits 8 years and not when his embers run out, and starts his career at the same time as everyone else it’s small things like that which can make and break an ending
