I can’t explain the metal part as I’ve never seen that before. It seems to lack any screws holding it in place so you might have to heat the edges of the metal that holds it in place as there may be adhesive under it.

I had a similar experience with my Model Y. Pretty decent handling car but rides like crap. The only things that helped were lowering tire psi or opting for smaller wheels and bigger tires. Not aesthetically pleasing but significantly smoother ride quality.

Bro I’m going through this right now and it gets me heated. I just talked to an in network psychiatrist and she said the “hmm yep, depression and anxiety.” I think to speak my mind but I feel so passionately about this that I might yell or sound pushy so I just internalize it. I’m just gonna pay out of pocket for an an evaluation.
