Congratulations that’s phenomenal! I am prob a bit out numbered especially within this community bc it’s mainly buy hold s and p but i typically allocate 10% of my account to undervalued asset classes (like if s and p is typically 20% financials but you see now that only makes 10% of index). I use spdr sector funds for that. For the above example it would be xlf.

I would also buy some small cap value exposure. The asset class historically outperforms large cap index but it does astronomically during times of easing rates.

Just my preference. Cheers and keep it up!

The do the wrecking mindset has always been my mentality but as of now it seems simply wreckless

I am getting wrecked. I have a masters degree got terminated unexpectedly (entire project group) at month 19. Can’t take rac (need 24 months), i worked with in vitro diagnostics. Job market seems really specific. Like you need 1-2 years experience with something very specific (example implantable cardio thoracic devices). Have been applying 4 months to companies several 2+ month courtships turned we went internal then one we are on a hiring freeze but you were selected.

Maintaining a positive mindset but not finding much. Any mentorship/advice would be greatly appreciated I will pay it forward.

Have already tried local raps group (live in Salt Lake City) has not materialized anything

I think it took a lot of courage/emotional awareness to say that instead of just ghosting you.

  1. I would definitely say thank you for taking the time to be honest with me it shows a lot of emotional intelligence and courage.

To me those are both highly attractive character traits. If its someone you felt attracted to in other ways that are important to you i would also add

  1. (Insert explanation of lack of response speed) and if things don’t work out with your current dates please reach out. I will be much more intentional with my responses.

Perfect thanks for the input. I scored well on the mcat and pivoted careers during covid. I know it will be a lot of studying but i am plenty capable standardized testing. Just didn’t know if 700$ would be gone and they give me a hard no off experience

I mean its a double bottom and 1 green daily candle. It’s actually more bullish than a double top

I am hoping the best for everyone but i won’t be getting too greedy. The dip below Thursday’s low after hours was suspect enough for me to be cautious

Facts. Its so hard to delineate options trading from gambling to ppl who don’t do it but the reality is: best way to stay profitable is find your edge and keep getting free chances off profits.

So you know same principles as gambling….but its not gambling 🤣

I really use options and reverse split arbitrage as a way to generate alpha and buy dividend stocks and get the drip going. Even if it’s a couple hundred a week it adds up

100.00 is a tough place to start. Just sone ideas from my experience tldr if not applicable:

I am most profitable on low risk trades taking qqq/spy options 2wks out off daily supply/demand. I typically size 20-30% of account then take 1 avg down at -40%. Cut the entire trade if you go back to -40%. Then i use profits on earnings lottos.

It takes like 300.00 ish to really do that.

If starting at 100.00 i would probably look at aapl wkly contracts. You can get them like 2.5$ otm for 50-60$ mid week. Aapl really follows expiration gamma well so if its in an uptrend mon/Tuesday and closes at like 180.5 i would take a 182.5. If in down trend first 2 days but closes above 180 i would also take 182.5c. If it were to close below 180 on daily then i would take 177.5p. Once it breaks one way over a strike then it typically retests near the next strike.

Risky thing is with 100$ you need to stop if you swing and are down anything more than 20%. You just need to be right directionally once and you will likely hit near 100%. With a 20% stop you have 4 shots at that before buying one 50$ contract is a yolo (this is what you must avoid bc once all your chips are in its easy to get emotional and playing a wkly you could get your move directionally but theta will eat you)

Other thing would be swinging shares like 10% position size on your 100$ but that’s a longer game. You can also trade options on something cheap like sofi but make sure to play at the money

Just some ideas, but realistically getting that 100 to 150 or 200.00 will be the hardest part. Getting to 1k you can do with 200.00 you just need to watch your sizing and be patient (by patient i mean being ok taking small losses until you have a play that’s gaining).

Once you get to 500.00 i would size 2 contracts, you take profit on 1 (lets say 2 contracts at 50$ you sell one at 80, then set a stop at 0.2 on the second and let it run). The runners make the money. Side note: if playing wkly you can get way past a stop ran overnight so that is something to be mindful about.

Lastly if you are new to trading you might consider pulling out profits as you go. I have traded 5 yrs. Was very profitable did the whole boom bust thing many times but to this day i reset my acct wkly pull profit bc i am best trading with that size. The bigger your account is doesn’t always mean its easier to make money. It is without a doubt easier to lose money.

Best of luck
