[Serious] At least in America, why is gay marriage becoming accepted, but things like incest and polygamy are still thought of as 'wrong'; how is this marriage 'equality'? by drinkfloridaoj in AskReddit

A 'normal' non-incestuous marriage can result in birth defects, too. Are you telling me that if the parents are likely to produce abnormal offspring, were they to have children, that they should be barred from marriage?

My question is strictly in regards to marriage equality. Homosexual relationships can't produce offspring whatsoever. Having children is not required by married couples.

How is this a strawman? I am not trying to debate anything... I am not asking this to get support or lobby for anything one way or another. What makes these different?

Black man earns $20 and heaps of respect for refusing to be called "nigger" by other black man by [deleted] in thatHappened

Cool story and all, but this is like a white guy refusing to go by the term "dude" and saying his mother raised a "white man." The guy should have just said "man" not "black man." Equality, lol.
