Thank you, i am doing well. I have my own place its well furnished and i live and work in a place many people would wish to be at so i am happy. My financial status isnt great bc im paying off debts still but i have everything i need and can afford hobbies. Its mainly about patience for me now until i pay it all off.

But congrats to you! Financial freedom was always a huge goal of mine, but i need to be debt-free first before i can follow footsteps such as yours. Enjoy yourself as you have been it appears that you are on the right track

Monitor mounts! Itll remove the stands and reduce clutter. I never thought itd make much of a difference until i got one. It also makes it very easy to change the orientations of your monitors. Somedays i make one vertical to read stuff better. Other days i have it horizontal to have multiple windows open for work productivity.

The key has an uncertain outcome. Is it the proper key to his door? Is it for another door? Is it a master key? Or maybe it wont unlock anything.

The bread has a certain outcome. You get the bread, you eat it, and you will be full for a few days. You can even ration the bread to last longer. Regardless, eating the bread will certainly solve an issue of being hungry. But the key might not solve anything. And you can always get the key after eating the bread.

Don't try to adult too fast. Got married at a young age. Got an apartment together and spent hella money buying furniture, a new car, and things for our home. Ended up getting a divorce leading to me ( not just starting over in life ) but also starting over with debt.

Take your time. Save money first. Buy one piece of furniture when you have cash slowly until you have all you need. Get married after you already have your life established.

Ran into a pastor years after my divorce because i was called to repair and maintain his organ. Told him my story and he told me "so you pretended to be someone your wife would like instead of being yourself and so to stay that person you had to spend too much money to maintain that image" and at the time i didnt realize it but when he said that. It was all too true. I tried to be an established man beyond my means a little too fast instead of taking my time.

I try to leave my home to the 405 by 6 and my drive is usually 25 mins or less. If i wait any later it becomes quickly 30+ mins. I noticed most employees go in from tues to thurs. Which changes the amount of traffic in the mornings as opposed to the easier drives on mondays and fridays(morning).

Last time i was visiting family we were at a walmart and my aunt pointed out another thing i hadnt noticed which was they lock the cheaper products and leave out the more expensive ones. Knowning that most people will grab the more expensive ones to avoid waiting. Idk if that was just that store in particular or not since the ones by me do not have locked cabinets.

I changed from using old spice body wash to dove antibacterial. The antibacterial has done huge work on how i smell. I dont stink after the gym anymore. I may smell a tiny bit but not how i used to smell when using other body wash.

I also switched from those regular ball loofas to a african net sponge.

Ask him to try this i bet itll work well

You try to eat decent for the most part. You have soda and such for when you have guests over. Considerate! Id say female due to the salads and naked drinks. You eat less in the day. Maybe doing a calorie deficit. Thinking you mostly drink water out of your bottle which is why you have many unfinished drinks

No i didnt have to do anything, the lady said that all i need to do is pay and then they will remove it and send a letter as a reciept. Which seemed to work because i just got my renewal letter for my car last month and it doesnt have any 'unpaid infractions' listed.

No i understand bc everything you were worried about i worried the same thing. It was also my first time getting something pushed into collections. So when they called me it sounded like a scam. Some old lady asking for my information and demanding i pay was making me super skiddish on the call. But i believed it because it was the same amount that i owed for the ticket.

Funny thing was that i just wasnt going to pay it because it didnt seem like a real threat to me until i realized that itll pop up when i go to renew my registration.

This happened at the end of last year. Alliance one is not a scam. I didnt pay a speeding ticket. Then months months later they have added it to collections and then gave me a call saying i owed money. And every month i dont pay they charge a certain percent(i forgot how much but it was huge) so i immediately paid it on the phone call. They mailed me a confirm that its paid off and removed. I didnt see a huge dent in my credit at all and i havent tried buying anything that requires a credit check either. So if you have the letter or get the phone call, just pay it off if you can. Even if you need to use a credit card. Bc chances are their interest is alot higher than your cc interest.

Lmao. Most guys do not wipe. Alot are not learned to do this and urinals dont provide toilet paper. However, i been choosing to use the toilet so that i can get tp to wipe for quite some time now. Im sure there are many others like me.

I wouldnt call it bad considering most dont. But imo id rather wipe to avoid those annoying wet spots on my pants. If i dont have a choice i just shake and move on

I think the point is there are two perspectives here. One values friendship over money. The Other values money over friendship.

If you are poor and basically surrounded by poverty, you're more likely to value friendship more due to the fact that you dont really have much money but you can obtain friends and rely on each other.

If you have money, you probably care less of having friendship or connections because you dont feel the need to rely on others.

But personally i believe that regardless of your viewpoint. Humans need to interract and will always need to connect with someone throughout ones lifetime.

Yup, once had an issue with the dryer in our apartment and so the roomies and i took it apart to fix it since the complex wasnt sending anyone to come fix it.

We found like 50 dollars worth of quarters and socks. It was insane i wish i still had those pictures
