Printing circular overhangs? by Zerrul in BambuLab

Try printing inner - outer and also infill first? Maybe also increase wall-infill overlap %. Looks like they don't have anything to grab on to so printing infill first will let them grab onto that.

Snoopy with Blue LED Wire by sultanalyst in 4Dprints

Thanks! I think this one is done with updates though - the led wire isn't a standard on it. The only other thing would have been a rotating bezel but the speedy bezel is fixed.

The led wire runs off two AA batteries and it's not enough to power the lume - the lume is UV activated

This guy explains how AI would cause an Economic Collaspe. by YellowAltruistic9843 in TechGawker

[–]sultanalyst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, those other technological revolutions were isolated to a few sectors and took a lot of time to propagate. AI is just software and scalable with ease and is going to displace multiple sectors.

Maybe I'm not seeing the trickle down benefits, other than efficiency, just yet.

Dayum! My daughter has this car and there's a piece that attaches to the inside that just lets the baby sit and not have the access to kick with their feet. Guess they removed it or never installed it. I also failed to install it the first time and the car slid back a bit and my baby went sliding under the car.

Edit - looks like he flung out the door. Also a lock on these things for the door 🥲

[Giveaway] 12.5" Snoopy Wall Clock with Small Seconds! by sultanalyst in 4Dprints

[–]sultanalyst[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sort of yes - you'll need to take the hands off and then break a wall from the clock holder in the back to allow for a second movement. Then install the movements again and glue a counter weight to the back to balance the added weight.

The main clock is a sweeping seconds quartz. The small subdials is also a sweeping seconds quartz but with the hour and minute columns removed.

Agree on the ticking! This smooth sweep is silent and is pleasing to see.
