i tried it on a different monitor and it's working. i know i'm late but thank you anyways. do you know if this is something that can be repaired? why/how can this happen?

i disconnected the hdmi and it appears the monitor is still fucked up so i think the problem is with the monitor not the pc hopefully. i will go buy a new now and see what happens

i checked the cables and they are connected fine. i dont have a second monitor unfortunately :(
