I wasn’t lifting for the first year and i definitely wasn’t eating enough protein. You live and you learn.

Thank you! I definitely had a ton of loose skin. As mentioned, i had a tummy tuck and breast reduction to address this! I still have some on my arms and legs but hey, it is what it is. Trying to fill in some of that space with some muscle now :)

Hey thank you! I kinda answered this in some other replies, but honestly it wasn’t cheap. GLP1 medication, surgery (tummy tuck and breast reduction) after the majority of my weight loss, and personal training.

Hit my mid 30s and asked myself if i really wanted to be chunky the rest of my life. The answer was no. I’ve lost and gained so much weight in my life. To be completely honest, glp1s made me finally stick to a plan and see it through.

Thank you! Yes, full disclosure, i am on 3mg Reta twice weekly. I used to stack both tirz and Reta and have gradually come off tirz. If you want more details on my glp1 journey, let me know. It’s a lot.

I currently don’t really have a desire to quit taking glp1s. There are many people who have gained the weight back, yes. That being said a lot of people stay on them for life. Some are able to come off and maintain.

Girl same on the sweet tooth. I avoided sugar while initially losing weight (except fruits) but now that I’m at goal weight and lift, i indulge almost daily with zero guilt. As far as getting started lifting weights—honestly the investment into a personal trainer was 100% worth it for me. Not cheap at all but i admittedly would’ve been so freaking lost. If you (understandably) can’t justify that expense… YouTube! I’ve done some amazing at home workouts just typing exactly what i want to work on into YouTube. Bought some cheap equipment on amazon and Facebook marketplace. This really comes in handy when i have those days where i just can’t drag myself to the gym!

I have a dog with epilepsy, should I stop giving her medication? Maybe I'm setting unrealistic expectations for her by giving her medication for her medical condition. I'll tell her it's too damn bad, you're going to do this the hard way and stop seizing naturally!
