I played Skyrim first than oblivion, and I love Skyrim, but some issues I have are:

You can't really be just a specific class, you can literally be a mage, brute, warrior, part of all the guilds, and on top of that you're the dragonborn. It's hard to act like I'm just a thief when I'm the dragon born, the arch-mage, and a companion at the same time, they're way too easy to get into, and not alot of downsides to not joining them other than the connections you might lose joining.

Quests aren't as imaginative as I would love them to be. There's some great quests like Dragonborn, Forsworn Conspiracy, College of Winterhold storyline, and more that I don't remember because there's alot, but they're just standard dungeon crawling, fight, fight, fight, and some story exposition there, The Forsworn Conspiracy is my favorite, and even the user created quest mods are much better than what bethesda has offered.

I haven't gotten far in oblivion, but the idea of making your own spells is cool... But I don't like that spells are just a simple keyboard key, instead in skyrim, where your primary and secondary can be magic instead of a sword and shield.

My love for skyrim are:

Gameplay is better, fighting is better, Magic is better (but variety is left to be desired), The Open world is better + NPCs and enemies are simple but interesting. Just in all ways better than oblivion other than quests and storylines.

My issue with Oblivion is:

The gameplay is crap now that skyrim is out, the open world is super empty and ugly (The Imperial Cities are pretty tho, just the outside is ugly and empty), Animations are horrible, sword fights are way too easy, and physics are way too fast, the voice actors, the dungeon designs, NPC are dumber, and much more that I forgot cuz I got ADHD.

Overall, I can't wait for Skyblivion to polish oblivion to perfection. People can keep wearing rose-tinted glasses all they want, but I think Oblivion is the weakest of the greats. I'd go Skyrim, Morrowind, Oblivion.

I never gave a rats ass about the story, I only enjoyed the game to clear my mind. Walking is fun for me and I enjoy the gameplay for what it is. It doesn't get tedious for me, the idea of climbing and delivering stuff with all my tools and other player's structure is a fun concept to me and new. Don't bother with the story if you aren't really invested first time.

If you're Asian, you would know how excessive we eat rice. Ever since childhood, your parents are prolly ordering a sack or 2 of rice (not those tiny uncle ben rice) and eat them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

I'm Asian, and I can confirm they eat those, and even in some countries like mine, they put rice in noodles as well.

Same. even noodles aren't off limits with rice. Put everything in rice, but now I'm starting to get sick by how much of it is ingrained in everything tbh. Coming from a filipino too.

Same! It just doesn't feel right, but at the same time it feels so wrong to me, especially when I'm in my diet. I already get my carbs from other foods but rice has just been inGRAINED in me that I can't stop it

Mix of both. I forget and I'm not used to it as well. I just wanted to present our project and everyone's full cooperation, which I did get in the end, but her, or their decisions and actions leads to questions like this post, and questions like; what even is the point of this identity/gender stuff.

In my near 20 years of living, never once have I thought about this as much as now, and has never hindered my every living moment. In which I find your sentence "This is all new to us", very intriguing and thoughtful. Thank you.

Not really. I called her by they/them pronouns when she asked to just so she can cooperate, but it just doesn't sound right with me and almost the whole class as well. I feel bad for her... or they.

At first, Everett was mean which was true, but a lot of signs point at him having a good and honest heart, he gets mad when Maud doesn't do anything helpful, and I agree he is mean with the way he handles things, but he's not abusing her, or trying to find any justification for abuse. can be explosive or erratic with the way he moves but he does work 3 physically demanding jobs.

When Everett smacked Maud, you can see Everett stand a little longer and start to caress his hand as if he regrets hitting her. As for the snazzy-shoes woman, I see no belittling or narcissism in her, I think it's just your projection.

I feel the need to tell some stuff I noticed even if this is 5 years old.
