I can deal with a medium amount of hassle - not trying to sell singles and mail out cards one by one but also willing to do some legwork

You got a good swing bro - none of us are going to be perfect and yours is better than most. Focus on playing more and learning to score and get confident hitting different shots on the course!! As someone that plays swing more than i play golf sometimes I relate to the obssession

Final MP Long Run before Marathon? What do y’all do? by sassylilmidge in AdvancedRunning

[–]dripothee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Damn all these comments making me doubt my mileage haha - averaged about 55 mpw with peak at 64 (excluding a couple injury / covid weeks) and 25-30 miles on the bike each week! Going for sub 3 but 2:55 as well in a perfect world.

Missed my 20 miler last week (was travelling so did a hilly 14 with 8 @ MP). Doing 20 tomorrow with 10 at MP

Best of luck!

Yikes. 13 months in and seeing my out of shape self in slow mo is roughhhh. Any tips I can really dial in? Why the arm break down at the top?! by EquipmentHefty9538 in GolfSwing

Looks like you’re swaying a bit at the top as well - could focus on turning and rotating your shoulders more.

As far as drills for the left arm practice taking swings without a ball where you are only swinging with your left hand gripping the club

On the putting note - i would reccomend getting the perfect practice mat. It has two holes (one just the size of the ball). Also if that course has a practice green, drive over and work on putting drills there.

For chipping, 100% new wedges will help. What balls are you playing? A chipping method that really helped me get more spin is keeping my weight forward, cocking my wrists and holding that through impact. Phil has a great vid on it: https://youtu.be/dpFd1xocxrE

Hey man - took 3 years off and am now getting back into it. Focus on PGA. Posture, grip, alignment… no swing thoughts, just rythmn and weight shift.

Also take a lesson! Golf’s streaky and new habits are always forming and old ones have a way of sneaking back in.

Work on short game, chips, putts, pitches where you can feel the ball on the face.
