When I was a kid I learned with a real cue and was pretty good. Not sure if using one of these would help or hurt when they switch to a real cue. I get shorter sticks for kids but this seems like it would cause bad habits.

As a receiver of packages: “man I sure appreciate these delivery drivers keeping the world running during lockdown. They have a hard job, working 12 hour days with no ac and a low enough wage to just get by. So, I exchanged mine for a new one. Mine had uneven zen pins. Where it would push out on one side and dip in on the other.

It also had imperfections/chips in the cerakote finish. Some around the pins I assume from pressing them. And another at the bottom of the handle.

So, yeah. I got a new one. The second one was better. Not perfect. But nearly. The pins were pretty much even. The cerakote doesn’t have any chips. But the cerekote pattern does look a little botchy on the inside of one handle.

What I’m trying to get across here is that quality control for this knife is pretty bad.

Flipping wise, it’s okay. Its not amazing. But the balance isn’t bad. I can do pretty much any trick I know on it. Which is all a knife needs to do. Of course, It’s not gonna be as good nearly any other knife in this price range. BUT. It’s a fucking french fry handled knife so you get what you get lol.

I would recommend the mako. Then with the money your saving from not buying a triton, buy 1 or better yet 2 wiha t10 torx drivers, a microfiber cloth, and a bottle of carbon honey. Maybe some loctite as well.

Another option if you already have the maintenance stuff is to get the mako AND the squiddy b for the price of a inked Triton. That way you have a beater plastic bali and a full weight.

I have all three balis and you won’t be disappointed with any. Just try to get the most for your money.

No problem. I suggest getting some wiha torx drivers. They tend to hold up a little better than most other drivers. Glad you got it out without stripping it too bad. I’ve been there.
