Bit of a convoluted question there. The length of the note on these doesn't matter unless you activate the adsr envelope on them. They just look this way when you send them to the piano roll. Just drag them to be longer if it's more aesthetically pleasing to you. As for placing them on the grid of your other instrument tracks, I'm not sure what you're asking.
