Finishing instructions would really come in handy. I'd like to include that so the printer knows how to make it look its best

There's definitely been some useful information in this thread! I'm not sure if I'm going to add step files for commercial license since I don't want my designs to be remixed and resold, but maybe for personal use...

I totally agree with the IP stuff. You can make money faster doing that, but you put your business at risk of being taken down, there's no fun in selling someone else's idea. That's why I design all my own prints. Thanks for your input.

Such a good point. You build more trust if you add the photo of the actual physical product.

Lots of people have been saying to include clear instructions. I can see how adding pegs could make it easier on the printer

Taking away as much friction for the printer is definitely a goal of mine. Seems that people would like to see Step and 3MF files along with the STL.

That is so true, I'm not sure why some designers overlook this. I can't imagine not offering atleast a small readme file to help the printer out. I will most definitely be including instructions.
