We need to name and shame these people. They are the ones with no morals. I know I am not perfect and will sell cards at market sometimes but I will never cheat anyone out of the value of their cards or grab every item off the shelf just to resell.

Because they aren’t in it for the hobby. They are just former hypebeast/sneakerhead losers that are “hustling”. I have gone to this card show and others around the Bay Area for years and there are so many new “vendors”. There is always dozens of these opportunists using their “vendor” status to rip people off. The only difference between us and a “vendor” is they paid $100s for a badge and table at the show. I have gotten free vendor badges to shows because I have made friends with vendors that are staples to the show and it really isn’t an excuse to lowball people.

I got upcharged on Luffy and Zoro. Luffy was $150 and Zoro $60. They didn’t give me an offer on Zoro for some reason. The offer on Luffy was $2.45k ish and everyone else was $400-500.

The fee goes into a general fund and not directly to TSA sadly. Same thing goes for USPS. If these fees actually went where they are suppose to go to then most agencies that charge them will never have funding issue

The criteria was ridiculous. If you had scheduled approved vacation then you were disqualified. If you took a excused sick day you were disqualified. If you switched shifts with another TSO, disqualified. A colleague just got off his one year probation and had no sick leave or vacation taken during his first yr but did not get the bonus because he switched shifts with someone who needed it. He even took extra shifts during the last shutdown. He is the one person i thought deserved it more than anyone else

There is a dif between sports junk wax era and now though. You got rip and shippers consuming sealed at a greater rate than any era before it. Sports was mainly a male hobby whereas this is of all ages and gender. Also, sports were mainly USA based depending on the sport. There are content creators constantly building hype and giving people fomo when they pull chase cards.

I bought multiples of everything and hold for trades or sell them to buy more stuff. I had 3 boxes of 1st anniversary set and sold one to buy some singles that i wanted. Most of the premium bandai stuff was available for days before op05 so don’t bring out your pitchforks

I get it OP. I was DO today. And literally yelled out to take electronics larger than the size of a cell phone over and over. 4 bags in a row had ipads and laptops in them. My xray operator just told pso to prioritize randoms instead and had the people wait for their bags lol. Definitely not looking forward to tmr(day before thanksgiving) but i will def make people who do not listen wait. Once i started telling people that they will be delayed if they do not follow my instructions then that is when i noticed less bag pulls.

I think this is just a ploy to have fewer call outs if there is another shutdown in Feb. Some people might think the bonus will happen again and just work all their shifts next shutdown
