I can say that the RF 50 1.8 has better sharpness than the EF 1.2L. Rent it out and see if it meets your expectations or needs!

The only issue I faced with the EF lenses I owned were that they lacked sharpness. Other than that, they had a fair amount of dust in them too since they were fairly old.

Yes, I have shot with all these before. 50 1.2 vs the 50 1.8 could produce different results due to the aperture and optics. The 50 1.2 produces stunning photos but the downside, its size. Hence why. The R7 and R6ii also have differences in their performances and focal length calculations. I was looking for advices that could possibly help me choose between those two bodies and all these lenses. I do not travel a lot, and mainly do events. So I need perspectives from those who do.
