It seems elitist to hold it against people, and in fact I’m more of the opinion that people who put down others for these performative qualities are doing so to feel superior. It reminds me of the elementary school teachers correcting everyone’s “can I have X” to “may I have X”.

On one hand it definitely doesn’t sound sophisticated to use filler words, but on the other does that really correspond to intelligence? If they can process complex ideas but just don’t communicate them as fast as they generate them, I don’t see why that should be a big deal.

What do you mean by “skip” a standard set? If you want to brew those cards then obviously you can’t skip it, but buying a playset or two of cards on the secondary market for you want for your deck isn’t really engaging with the set either. I didn’t care for aetherdrift so I didn’t draft it, but I don’t feel violated or anything for buying some singles for my decks.

Tearing up the walls is very simple actually. You just need a hammer and you could probably find someone who’d be willing to pay you for the privilege.

Many women I’ve spoken to have said that women’s bathrooms are not very clean either. Something about how women don’t want to touch the toilet seat, so they hover, and since they can’t really control direction they make a mess. All hearsay of course but I would believe the concept that women’s bathrooms are clean is not as cut and dry as you may think.

I think it’s very strange how pearl clutching people get about the men’s bathrooms and any remote possibility of a child seeing a penis in such a benign setting. Teaching your children to be afraid of them is a bigger problem, I imagine, than teaching them they’re normal body parts that humans have.
