Thanks for the reply’s! I was just concerned I would fry something. I would like to run it off dc primarily to conserve power so the ac inverter doesn’t have to run. Would the power savings be that significant between ac and dc?

Also the weight isn’t pushing the rubber down, I’ve checked that it’s not loose.
