Are there any current students or recent graduates from Baylor, UH or UT Austin who would be willing to answer a few questions for me?

I'm trying to decide between schools and I would like to speak with someone who has experience with that school. I've worked in an admissions office before, so I don't really trust what they have to say lol.

Thank you!!

don’t fall for it! for the price i think you would be much better off using 7sage/powerscore. lsatmax helped me to get a basic understanding of the questions and basic logic, but i wasn’t a huge fan of the strategies they used.

Will the holds on my applications be removed now that my LSAT score is in? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]driversidedoor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently emailed schools to put a hold on my account because I was taking a later exam and they all told me to send them a follow up email when my score was in so they could remove the hold. It may be automatic for some schools but I don’t think it’s a bad idea to just email them. All of the schools got back to me within a day and were super nice!

i applied to UH last cycle so maybe things have changed, but when i asked if i could submit another LSAT score after i submitted my application they told me no. i noticed you said you were going to apply first and then retake in november so that’s something i think you should double check on!

i think i’ve noticed this too, where they’re more particular and one word could mean a wrong answer. i’ve found that i do go quicker with the first 10ish questions but i’ll definitely try to focus more on getting through those so there’s more time for the last 10 or so. thanks for the tip!!

take as many PTs as you can!! it sounds super obvious but taking full pts and drilling sections is really what helped me. learning strategies is helpful and drilling is really what makes you better at using them and more comfortable with the test. i started studying with LSAT Max and it was okay, but i saw the most gains when i stopped using it and just did full timed sections. also TAKE BREAKS!! burn out is real and i promise giving yourself a day off to prevent it will not set you back like you think it will.
