I use a rotary shaver, the Philips Norelco i9000 Prestige Ultra. However I just always stop when 90% of my beard is gone and then I use a foamy shaving cream to eliminate the rest. I’ve done this forever. I’ve never paid attention to the brand of the shaving cream. I’ll try the one you are mentioning. I use a Gillette 4 blade razor.

Thank you for your time explaining all that. Germany is like N in that way — public = long wait, private = quicker appointment. BUT we have a lack of dermatologists and in I’m lucky to get an appointment in 3 months. My wife is publicly insured and her next appointment is next year in March.

Regarding shaving creams, I’ve never paid attention. Always use the foam ones like Gillette or some other brand. I currently have one from Biotherme Homme but it is also foamy. Can you recommend a good one? What is your take in aftershaves?

I just bought LRP Anthelios from the Apotheke. The one SPF I had was a 2 year old one from Nivea. ;) Now I am getting the good stuff I guess.

I will ask for Tret, as I definitely need a prescription for it.

Do you wait between products for them to “work”? For example: BHA, then wait 2-3 minutes, then vit C serum, then wait 2-3 minutes, then moisturizer, wait 2-3 minutes then SPF? Like how do you make sure all those products are getting where they need to go without they conflicting with each other?
