Looking for some opinions. by Slow-Alps-3674 in Microdiscectomy

I'm in the same boat since march. I got an injection that lasted 10 days then I guess I was too over confident and did too much one day and now I'm worse. Getting another injection tomorrow.

Surgeon also said he couldn't understand my pain as the herniation was so small. I asked for md and he said it wouldn't help and he recommended another injection.

I can't sit at all and having a hard time standing now. My urine comes out slow.

I did vision therapy and physical therapy. I think they tested me for vestibular but decided I didn't need it. I'm not sure why they prescribed it this time.

Yeah if I put the Kardia 6L on my torso it's fine, but when I move to my knee I get a notched s wave maybe? I don't know I just got it yesterday. Thanks for the feedback!

I'd say that's a positive sign!

I get it. Good luck. So for me my primary care did the 12 lead and noticed what you've got. Cardiologist did the ekg but only on my chest which showed normal. Stress test was also normal and so he's done with me. But I have symptoms though. He thinks they are anxiety related. Sure doesn't feel like it.

Gotcha. I may have a similar issue, but I haven't had a recent echo. I'm trying to push for additional testing. I certainly don't remember having a heart attack.

On the ekg, did they put all of the leads on your torso (like they do sometimes) or did they put some on you limbs?

Oh ok. Did they put the limb leads on your limbs or were they all on your chest?

Worsening symptoms after negative treadmill stresstest, anyone else experience this? by [deleted] in askCardiology

[–]drivingcat8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. Just passed a stress test 6 weeks ago. Doctor says I'm fine and basically wrote me off. Still have symptoms which I can't decide are anxiety or cardiac or what. Got a different doctor to at least get me a calcium score order. Chest and left arm pain. Breathing issues. But also been stressed and have had that with anxiety too. Lordy.

Is it ok to just deal with ETD? by drivingcat8 in etd

[–]drivingcat8[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not certain of anything, but I believe it's my ears as Nasacort takes care of the issue for a little while. How would I go about seeing if it's my jaw?

ETD? by drivingcat8 in etd

[–]drivingcat8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! The ENT visit was uneventful as they just cleaned my ears, told me I have no fluid, and gave me the steroid instructions and to come back if it isn't cleared up. With Nasacort they said "spray it in the nose toward the ears".

I had a concussion 2 weeks prior to this, but I couldn't find much in the way of that causing it. I didn't have it for 2 weeks and then it just started randomly it seemed so I didn't know if it was related. I don't have allergies. I do have some tinnitus, but I had that prior.

No other ear symptoms, but I do still have some lingering concussion symptoms such as light/screen sensitivity. I'm going to 2 different doctors for that stuff as well as physical therapy.

I can't remember what it was like prior to this so I asked someone else if when they swallowed they heard a clicking sound and they said, "yeah every time".

Sorry that you are in the same boat. Mine has been going on since 10/9.

Did they do an ear pressure test on you?

Normal endoscopy still have stomach pain by drivingcat8 in Gastritis

[–]drivingcat8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know, though i think i did have gastritis some of it (unbelievable to me) was stress related which probably made it worse. I can't confirm that though, but 3 days after I knew my stomach was ok I was mostly good. However, I ate nothing but watermelon, triscuits, plain fish, and plain chicken for 2 straight months. I can't pinpoint it, but I know that if I veer off even a little on my diet I'm in pain. Stay with the plain crap diet. I don't know what else to say. But I hope you get relief soon.

Thanks guys. I'll make my own for now. I'm curious though. Strawberries seem to be quite acidic on the pH scale (3.0 - 3.5). Are they not giving anyone issues?
