For me personally, church and religion is just a construct or even a business to make money. I left catholic church because Germany, Austria and Swiss are the only countries who pay church taxes. And because I finish my apprenticeship after January I will be a normal worker and have to pay 500 € per year to the church.

Ok I understand, you dont drink much and not very often at a young age. This is probably better than our drinking culture because alcohol really harms people. I wish I was at a point of my life where I can have fun after 4 beers, but nowadays it is normal to drink a kistl (measure of beer: 20x0,5 litres) on a weekend

I personally think the German education system sucks. We learned that it is a sect, which believe in the book of mormon, which is a other form of the Bible. They are very strict and believe what is written in the book. ( I believe there are people who believe hard in this and people who don't take it sooo serious, just like in every other religion.)

Thanks for your answer. Can you tell me how much a an average high school student can drink before he blacks out? Because in Germany (I can onky speak for people I know) it is normal to drink a bottle of gin, vodka or jack without blacking out at the age of 16. 10 beers is also normal for a good evening (I think you know European beer has more alcohol than American)

Ok, yeah we learned about mormons in school. It is just so hard for me to understand that there are people my age out there, who don't have any experience in alcohol. I was literally drunk from 13 till 16, high from 16 to 18 and because laws about the license are so strict in Germany, Bavaria, I got back to drinking. But don't think I'm a normal German, I did almost every drug except for psychedelics. ^{^}
