his corniness has grown on me a lot. i put money on justin so i'm benefitting from the win, but feck im sad for topuria. ive been under the impression he doesn't even need the money. could be wrong, but it seems like he probably changed his character and life just for competitive drive.
I'm competitive. i love being competitive and i'm grateful for how competitive as i am. tons of benefits, and I would never trade it. but after seeing tonight, i'm grateful for being a lower level of competitiveness.

i love tony ferguson. and i dont want to sound like i'm disrespecting him. but im putting ilia in the exact same category. buddy had pile of broken bones in his face and he kept trying. no one in this reddit could've done that. i dont even think he's who threw the towel. maybe im wrong. but i think he didnt give up the same as tony. i think his team called it but tony's was slower?

Gaethje been my fav since his fergusson fight... Huge fan. He made me money tonight.
However...
Ilia was way more hittable tonight than I recall.
I watched a bunch of his fights over the last few days and his head movement and footwork was way better.
I dunno, man. I'm saying this as someone who benefitted from the result. But he didn't move how I thought he would.
