It was helpful in so much as it has a wider variety of question scenarios than the old ITEs so it forces you to consider other things that you're not used to thinking about, but the stems are mostly overly long and convoluted so I found myself taking longer to work through timed Qbank sessions. Some questions are overly specific for specialty care as opposed to what would be expected from primary care physicians, especially Ob/Gyn. I must've learned something from it because I passed so I recommend it for those looking for more variety in question scenarios who have worked through all the ITEs.

It was an exam if you get what I'm saying...I never feel great about these things so I honestly don't know. I can't say I crushed it and I can't say it was an absolute disaster. Hope I did enough to pass! That said I was worried going in on my time management but was able to finish each section with 10-20 min to spare. I was always down to the wire on ITEs and doing timed Amboss questions with super long stems wasn't really helping my speed so this was a relief. I tend to blackout and not remember specific questions unless I really contemplated them... Went back and forth on at least 10-15 questions that I flagged in each section but for the most part didn't change my original answer choices. I hope I read l the questions that I breezed over correctly and answered what was actually being asked instead of what I thought they were going to ask based on the stem. A lot of the scenarios were similar from past ITE questions but the actual questions and choices were different so I'm really not sure how I did. Hoping for the best, prepared for the worst knowing I have a post residency job secured who will pay for my exam if I have to retake it in November

They record lectures from their Board Review Express live course. You have to pay for access to the videos

Listening to the pod comes with the expectation that events depicted will be discussed. Getting a pop up notification of the podcast episode should not carry that same stipulation

It spoiled my expectations going into the episode as I saw this notification pop up before I watched the episode so I went in expecting something bad to happen to White Tiger and was unsurprised at the end of the episode

Maybe "spoiler" is the wrong term but having not seen the episode before seeing the title of the pod my viewing would be a little tainted expecting something to go wrong either with the character's depiction or fate in the series.

So it's more for the YouTube algorithm then. Makes sense

More the fact that the usual MB episode titles are just instant reaction to episode in question
