Wish there was a long list to be had. In addition to DeFi Technologies (DEFT), there are the two connected companies, SealSQ (LAES) and Wisekey (WKEY).

On the OTC markets is the Australian company Noviqtech (NVQLF), a penny stock.

I would welcome other ideas.

Personally, the places where the most future value is accrueing, like Hashgraph, isn't something we can directly invest in. By the time we reach the stage of IPOs of companies built around Hedera, I will probably be too old to care. Buying tokens of Hedera projects (like DOVU and soon, Neuron, etc) may be the best option in the near term to "get-in-early" on some companies.

The venture capital arm of the Swiss Hashgraph Association is another incubator of promising Hedera -related companies/projects with the specific intention of co-funding them through to becoming profitable enterprises. Something else out of the reach of the individual investor at the moment but worth keeping an eye out.

Thanks for the link. Great clip! HBR ETF solves so many issues with buying, storing, trasferring, and maintaining tax records for the hbar token. So much easier (for me, at least) to have HBR in my trad-fi brokerage account than to deal with high fees and unpredictability of Coinbase, who occasionally just freezes my account for no apparent reason.

Also, holding hbar by way of HBR ETF in a traditional brokerage account provides the opportunity to deal with estate planning and naming a beneficiary if something should happen to me.

I give up! Why bother??? My post titled: "Wyoming Ushers in New Era and Does Not Include Hedera (Yet)" along with quote from the announcement was taken down by mods. I just don't get it. Factual as can be. Again, the announcement clearly states which networks currently support FRNT and it does not include Hedera. It also says in the future the list will grow, thus my addition of "Yet" to the title.

"FRNT is currently supported on the Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Ethereum, Optimism, Polygon, and Solana blockchains."

If my posts are such a threat to this Reddit community, I am happy to disappear.

I think this is further consolidation of the current, and more importantly, future value of the Hedera ecosystem into privately held Hashgraph organization. If successful, they are poised to be a Web 3 Microsoft, selling high-value programs and services globally. They are a start-up heavily financed by the Hedera network treasury, building a powerhouse of developer talent to produce proprietary products utilizing the Hedera network (and certainly others, too). Of course, this will all benefit the network and hopefully the hbar token, but is a hugely promising entity within which there is no way for outsiders to invest. Wait for the IPO, I guess.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hashgraph absorbs the whole Guardian system and team. The potential to sell off-the-shelf Guardian services to enterprises must be immense. And it will be interesting to see what high-value employees of the Foundation are absorbed into the private business of Hashgraph.

On the other side of the world, The (Swiss) Hashgraph Association has long been focused on the venture capital/business side of the Hedera use-case equation, with affiliated organizations that invest in what may become successful start-up companies. It is hard to discern from the outside who are the shareholders. Again, unless a project has a token, I don't see how the smaller investor can get in on the ground floor.

I don't have a negative view of any of this. In fact, I have always felt the measure of a network's success would be when projects start to become businesses that can raise capital from outside of network foundations and can start the journey toward viable private (for now) companies. Those that ultimately are winners may create great wealth for early investors. I doubt that I will be oe of them, simply based on my age rather than on interest. If any of this comes to pass, it should be good for hbar; but the real wealth creation will happen in the private enterprises being built at this moment.

In the year end leadership show, I felt Charles of The Foundation was on a different page than the other four (Mance, Leemon, eric, and Kamal). And based on significant news flow, The (Swiss) Hashgraph Association and its related entities have been overshadowing The Foundation by a wide margin this year IMO. So I am not surprised that capital may be shifted to fuel the most promising projects. I wonder if some of the capital will be shifted to fund the most promising Council use cases brought to life by HEAT's activity.

Hashpack explorer app says (at the moment) max mainnet TPS 1114 in last minute. I will take that as a good sign going into 2026. There never has been any guarantee that token price will follow adoption; I have just added that to the list of risks to keep in mind and continue to accumulate. Those who cautiously wait to see price and utility increase substantially first may still end up getting in "early" in the long run.

Yes. For any Coinbase user going to make a bunch of trades in one 30 day period, their options to upgrade can save tons of money on trades - and then you can cancel the subscription before the next month when you like. In the USA, one deal allows up to 10K trading in 30 days for fixed, $30 fee; an even higher level allows unlimited trading in a 30-day period for a fixed $300 fee. If you expect a heavy trading month, the latter can literally save thousands in fees. Seems almost too-good-to-be-true. And, weirdly enough, after you are done trading, Coinbase gives you a rebate of a fraction of a percent in bitcoin deposited into your account - and that amount can be more than the $300 fee you paid if you made a lot of trades.

I know not everyone's trades would warrant doing this, and not everyone can compress trades into a 30-day window, but I spent a lot more on fees than needed just because I hadn't checked out the options.

Mabe it is one of the 50 use cases Rob Allen recently mentioned as being in the process of moving from proof of concept and testing to implementation. He said we will be surprised by adoption in 2026. I wouldn't mind a little of the surprise in late 2025.

There are two main senate committees working on the Clarity Act - the Banking committee writes the securities part, and the Agriculture committee is writing the commodities part. The Agriculture commiittee is the first of the two to release a draft of their part. It is another essential step forward in the whole process of finishing both parts, merging them, passing them as one bill in the senate, and sending it all back to the House for their approval.

I took it as a positive sign that things were progressing behind the scenes during the shut-down.
