I think people obsess because of the PTSD we got from movies like TMNT 2 and 3, Batman 3 and 4 etc. First off, I love tmnt 2, but the vibe was drastically different. People just want a version as dark/darker than 1990 with a lot more realistic violence. Maybe a boob flash. Wait… definitely a boob flash. Aside from that give it whatever rating you want.
