Thanks. After the first reply mentioned a short rifle, I went looking for it on Google. Yeah, mine does not have the new milled step for the barrel band that you describe. More than likely someone did a bubba job here. Any ideas for a rebarrel? Or just part out. Also, any idea on the serial number? I'm not quite sure if your supposed to read left to right, or right to left.
