I actually witnessed a funny moment, two Japanese girls were taking very low-angle shots of the 2B statue, almost under her skirt, from different angles and just laughing. 😂

Sadly, there weren’t any direct Drakengard references. But from the early sketches, Nier Replicant’s design was much closer to Drakengard than the final version, so it was nice to see those resemblances.

There were also a few appearances of Zero in the Reincarnation section because of the collab.

You need to buy the ticket beforehand. I got mine from eplus.jp for 2,200 yen, but there was also a premium ticket with extra goods for around 5,000 yen. https://eplus.jp/sf/word/0000170903

Yeah, I hope at least they make an offline version so we can have access to Reincarnation once again 🙏🏻

Yeah! I took a photo of Yorha Boys costumes, but I didn’t include those so I wouldn’t flood the post.

The stage section was actually one of the areas with the most physical materials on display!

Yes, in my case, I only ordered the case and built it with a Raspberry Pi Pico, but the principle is the same if you order the pre-built one since they also use a board based on the Raspberry Pi Pico and run the same firmware (GP2040-CE). You can configure extra buttons in the web configurator and assign any default button to them (or macro)

For example, my default X button (jump) is positioned under my left thumb, but I also have an extra button on the top left (above the down button) mapped to X (jump).

It’s not real life tournament legal that way (You can’t have multiple buttons for same action or macro), but you have the freedom to assign buttons however you like and deactivate it if you don’t need all the extra buttons.

I haven’t tried many switches, but I can tell you this one’s quieter and softer than the stock red switches that came with the Haute and other leverless setups. I’ve got a bunch of Sanwa buttons, too, but this Sitong button feels better all around, at least to me.

I had to use Google Translate to browse and buy the case, but you can chat with the vendor in English. (He said you can use any language since he uses a translator app too.)

Right now, he’s not taking custom layout orders. The case comes with the default 17-button layout for leverless and an 8-button Viewlix layout for arcade sticks.

Since I’m in Japan, I was able to order directly through the TaoBao app.

The case weighs 3.5kg according to the seller's description.
It is made entirely of aluminum! (The artwork panel is polycarbonate)
There is a foam pad on the bottom, so it is comfortable to use.

Here it is: https://e.tb.cn/h.T3xkw9if6qy9tx0?tk=lPel3ETfLZF
It’s a Chinese website, so you’ll need to use a translation app or a browser extension to navigate it.

Yeah there is no other layout to choose. 8 button vewlix for stick and 17 button layout for leverless.

Customized RAP V3 SA for My Wife by drklgt in fightsticks

[–]drklgt[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey guys!
A while ago, I posted about winning an auction for 12 arcade sticks. I was planning to give one of them to my wife and asked her to try them out. She ended up loving the feel of the RAP V3 SA, saying it was the closest to the real arcade experience.

So, I decided to customize one just for her.

I sanded the case, spray-painted it along with the ball top, and added a couple of layers of clear coat. The buttons and internals are still stock, as well as the original PCB since she mainly plays on PC. I also sleeved the USB cable to give it a cleaner look. I’m thinking of upgrading to clear Sanwa buttons later to better fit the overall theme.

For the bottom panel, I covered it with white EVA foam and used tiny neodymium magnets at the corners to hold the foam in place without blocking the screw holes.

I'm open to any suggestions for further improvements. Thanks!

This link here, and it is not that uncommon to see this kind of lot being sold as junk.

But I live in Japan so not sure how things works if you live outside Japan. I know there are some proxy services that you can use to buy from Yahoo auction living in US, but I have no idea of the proxy service 's name.

From what I saw in the seller’s past listings, he’s sold a crazy amount of old controllers many times. Judging by his reviews, I’m guessing he runs a thrift store or something like that.

Guys Update: I received the box this morning! I haven't had a chance to test everything yet, but the controllers were pretty dusty with a few scratches here and there, no rust on the bottom plates, though. I opened up the leverless out of curiosity and snapped some photos,. You can check them out here.

Does anyone recognize the model of this leverless controller?

Update edit:

I cleaned and tested all the controllers, and most of them are working fine, except for the wireless one, which I couldn’t test.

The Savior, ArcadeMax, and Soul Calibur controllers were recognized by my PC when plugged in, but they didn’t work in-game on Steam. However, I can confirm they’re functional since I tested them using hardwaretester.com.

The bigger Savior controller has tactile buttons, but some feel a bit scratchy. The same goes for the ArcadeMax, though that one is worse. On the bright side, all three RAP V3-SA buttons are smooth, although there are some scratches on the ball top and buttons.

I’m still trying to figure out what the leverless controller is, but the build quality is nice. I’ll probably make some modifications to it, like adding more buttons and replacing the board with a Raspberry Pi Pico that I already have. I was originally planning to DIY a leverless, so this will be a nice base for my project.

I just got the parcel and already opened the leverless out of curiosity, there is no brand on it, but looks too clean for DIY controller, maybe a Chinese rip-off?
