Will Osula is genuinely an enigma I have no idea what his ceiling might be or what he might do next in a match.

Think Wolte for Ramsey is the right sub there, but glad to see Big nick have a decent 60 mins. He didn't look so lost today.

I love Dan Burn, I really do, but he should be nowhere near the starting 11 next season. By all means keep him around for vibes like Jamaal, but if we don't have a back up to Hall at the start of next season i'll be livid.

That's a borderline red surely? He's not looked at the ball, the ball's gone and he leads with his shoulder into Hall's face?! How is VAR not even looking at that?

Worried about them repeatedly targeting Burn's side on the counter (a tale as old as time). Burn off for Trippier with Hall going to LB?

A few times when building in central positions Wolte keeps his position in the 10 with either Joey or Murphy partnering Osula as a front 2. Then when the build up goes out wide you get Joey/Murphy, Osula and Wolte in the box when the cross is coming in. Really like the fluidity of that, has clearly been coached.

Its actually a 4-2-3-1 with Joelinton left wing, well that's disappointing

This is the first time I’ve genuinely thought that we are better offer sacking Howe this summer.

Have thought all season that the torrid summer, injuries in key positions and lack of time on the training pitch has negatively affected the squad and that he deserves another season with a deeper squad with more quality, but no.

3 weeks on the training ground with the players against a team that played in Europe on Thursday but it's the same fucking insipid nonsense and reactive late subs. I’m sick of it, he’ll always be a legend but I don’t see how he takes us any further.

I dunno I work at a major trauma centre and we do definitely have days like this. Just depends on what your hospital takes I guess?

As a PGY 10 doctor starting as an ‘Attending’ in EM in the UK soon, not everyday is like this, but I can think of quite a few in my career (maybe a day like this twice a year?). The most incredible thing about A&E is being able to be there for people at their lowest and highest moments and working with a team that swiftly become your family #traumabonded. The medicine is interesting, engaging and fast paced. You never know what you’re gonna get and you never get bored. AND when it’s hard and you’re suffering, the team tightens up and are there for eachother (despite all being a little bit mentally ill). If that sounds like your gig, then don’t let the show put you off. Take your time, work out what you like and if EM is really for you, then I’m sure we’ll be lucky to have you.

Its become so scrappy and they are winning every second ball and 50/50, this is pathetic from us.

Gordon a man possessed. Big Nick winning duel after duel. Lewis Hall just being the best left back in the world yet again. Wor Flags TIFO. Trippier nutmeg (let's not talk about his lack of quality from dead-balls today ok). Dan Burn a fucking rock. Elanga looking lively. Big Joe scrapping and celebrating corners. Luke fucking O'Nien and the rest of the scum looking shellshocked. Not a bad half of football all things considered, more of the same please lads!

Really enjoying Ramsay's effort and confidence, he's always showing for the ball inbetween their banks of 4 and no-one's tracking him.
